Hi all. Thought I'd post a small update. I think I'm going to forget the Roadmap structure I was planning to follow because of how much physically demanding it was for me. I'm going to revert back to just uploading drawings when I produce them so that I can also give myself time to consider what to do next. I never expected this small project of mine to go as far as it did, which I'm grateful for and I'd like to say thanks to those who liked or suggested ideas. That's all for now. Hey again Lee, I was thinking of uploading these liveries sometime in the next week or so, so that I can focus purely on the Rail 200 work. There's a few more prototypical designs I have which I'd like to show you before I upload them incase they may be of use to us. I'll try showing these to you sometime tomorrow so I can pick the more conceptual ones.
No worries my friend. Like was saying just toy around get a little inspiration then we can formulate some short of plan. And yes by all mean share as that’s your own work or side of your thread. We can mostly certainly have a look and see if they could be related to Railway 200 as the event and for us as project members. Your free to do that, as the main focus is the car and possibly the power cars. They must be absolutely breathtaking for Rail 200 celebrations. But before I give the game away by saying to much then I’ll leave you with these. I’ve lost a lot of my concepts on file or clip flies. Moved around a lot you see. But I’ve always had these close by. A few planes, coaches, helicopter, and of course Trains.
Trains. Last never got finished, started working at 17 and that was that. Did the B17 a little later on as tried my hand again. But work life dictates a man’s freedom. Like Hypo loops. Reusable space shuttle, I was dreaming of those when I was 10. So in the 90s. Elon your so behind the times. I even came up with what is now widely know as a scram jet. I was obsessed with creating an engine with well no engine. Or limited moving parts. So all about air flow and compression. Basically ramming as much air at speed for the entire engine or craft to take that amount of air flow. Fan Blades can slow that down even prevent the engine from breathing at high speeds. The speed the air passes will be disturbed by what the Fan blades or intakes can take. Vibrations which is not good for the engine frame nor air flow or burn rates. Concorde is a perfectly example of how air is fed to the engines at sub sonic or super sonic speeds. Anyway enough about Planes, it’s all about trains. Hypo loop’s connect to domes. Dome we live, work and grow produce. A dome to protect our environment as the world gets worse. We need to prepare years ago. But like always man is a sleep. So we will never progress. We’re at least 50 years behind. I mean a battery in a car, what they did that in 1920!. Right sorry for my little rant. Something I’m very passionate about is improving the world and our lives. Not designs as such me just enjoying drawing what’s around me. I was into Desert Storm in the Iraq war, 1990s. The the Tornado was a favourite of mine so I tried to replicate a photo. I just never finished the back ground work or add colour which is desert pink.
Hello everyone. After a break, I decided to go back to one of my designs to see if I could upgrade it. Plus, I can draw wheels now (or just about)
Good stuff mate. Hard to do wheels on a angle. Perception helps out too. While I am here this is the class 43 HST set I made around a year ago now. It’s was for a friend but it wasn’t to be. I altered the LNER logo and DTG blocked the editing, so I couldn’t change if I wanted. A proper case of Big Brother watching. Because I was punished badly with no explanation or way to the fix the issue. Enough of all that, Scrubbing LNER off the lot and replacing it with anything other than LNER. I’ve altered a few colours only at this point, been busy with other things But the set you see was gonna be turned into what I have now passed onto you. My plan was to some how find the space to fade to black on the rear power car then flow to the car behind. On that black space was then the mural work with a quote. The problem Im trying to work out is the lines are still original Intercity design. Should I keep, or not. If I keep then no work needed to the design of the front. But if I do want to alter then more work is needed on the power car. Causing other problem. The looks and it’s style. I want to keep it as it is, but do something about the original Intercity lines. A little stuck, but this is where you come in. Thinking about if we could build on this livery or you start from scratch. I have liveries coming out me,,,,,excuse me,,,,,so it doesn’t bother me too much about focusing on my own ideas for this. Like I say you love art and design so I thought this would make you happy. Rather you then me tho mate, I tough job. Like they say, Everyone has a Job to do. We’ll just thought I’d give more of explanation and show what was the plan. I’ll DM you and TG08 later. I’ve got tooth ache, and trying do painting. It’s absolutely killing me like. TrainGeek my have to run the show soon. I’ll let you know tho. And as always great work, keep it up. Some advice from back in my drawing days is look at photos, get key references and work as you go. The same as livery layering. Key references points, line up, and centralise when needed. It’s mostly the same with drawing. Like a Jig, have all the angles and proportions right then the rest will work of them as the main references as you add more and more depth or detail. Hello, forgive my tone. A little rough today Anyway don’t worry to much about what I’ve shown you, because it’s all about your ideas and contributions. It’s not about me, or my work as such. I don’t like the lime light that much believe it or not, there for like I mentioned in the past then it’s your time to shine. As I say don’t worry about what I shown you, It was to give you an idea of my original plans that’s all. You have the freedom to do what you like within this project while still retaining the original core concepts. A sleek elegant design. It must be very classy but modern, tasteful a real show stopper. Show me as you go what your thinking of or what you may have already made then I’ll advise if necessary. Just run with it, even possibly speak to the community on something you have planned. The communities input is important to, because we’re doing this for the community and celebrating Rail 200. It must be special. You could even make each coach a certain era to cover all the achievements of those individuals key to that era’s progress. So styles from 1825 right upto the BR days. With the black fade over and place the Mural, with Quotes. Again my original concept for the class 43. Sadly I don’t have the time, yet having a community member onboard can help me do what I need behind the scenes. Getting the community involved for the benefit of the celebrations. This why it’s so difficult right now because I’m due to have talks with a major rail company. All this will definitely dictate how this process. I can’t say anything tho because it’s confidential between me and that party. Here is why I feel we must be professional about all this, because it’s for Rail 200. We need to respect the integrity of their mission. For the UK to be involved as Nation with Rail 200 to celebrate the Birth of Modern Rail. That’s what key. So we are involved not directly with Rail 200 as a joint venture but as fans of rail doing what we can to make Rail 200 what IT sets out to do. Celebrate, so we must do the event proud. Right well I’ll be off, please don’t feel I’m being funny. I’m in a strange mood today. As I said to TG08 I’m a little rough at the mo. I feel like I have had the BLANK kicked out of me. So please forgive me if I sound off, in a lot of pain with me tooth, teeth feel like glass while having a screw driver rammed in me right ear. Hey Lee, No problem. I'll start working on some designs for the time being and then show you when the time is right. I'm a little busy this afternoon, but I'll start tonight on some sketches. That's fine. I might make a small announcement later just to see what comments I get regarding certain features or trains that could be used. It's no problem at all. I sketch practically non-stop so it doesn't bother me. I feel this actually works better for me in a way as I can show you where my head is at or ask you what works in a certain design or not. As discussed with all members on this project our health and even mental health is more important. Why?,,well we can’t create our best if we are not our best. Especially when considering a funky livery. Some decent decals to be fair. Bit gutted I didn’t pre order TSW5 like I have done in the past to get the bonus set of decals. Hey ho a. Hey Lee. I haven't used any mastery decals yet. I have the TSW5 bonus decals with Deluxe edition which I haven't used yet. I'm glad you like the EMR one. I made a few upgrades to the voyager window structure I've been using so I may upgrade my other liveries based on the Class 22x's
Oh you should they are good to have. And nice to hear you got the deluxe edition, in fact not sure what decals came with that pre release. I was unsure wether I was mentally prepared to get back in to TSW franchise so missed out on this occasion. Not sure if your interested in the monthly challenges and the decal that comes with it. Personally I like them as I find they would look nice as you collect and add to a livery. I may go hunting for a thread or set one up to to with mastery and monthly challenges. Catch ya later bud.
Good evening everyone, I thought I'd give an update on where I am lately. I'm going to be making a new thread for my Creators club content, which I'll put a link for shortly. This is to ensure that everything is documented in the same place. Regarding this thread, this one will co-exist with my new one, just different content being uploaded for each. Hey thank JPlayz for the little update, good idea to for having a central place for liveries or something. I had it myself once with my TSLP thread, but I ruined that thread. Why well I takes time, things change and the more you start doing the more you have to man manage. Meaning more things can go wrong the complicated a person make it for them selfs. Take this for example: This is just one page of a few that I set up (Because I love lists and checking) to worm out old TSW2 files so I could try fix and put right for fans that many years ago had faith by subbing to my work but found they got the wrong livery. It bothers me massively because I failed in delivering something that should be right first time and every time, no excuses. But it all takes time. Now as you can see this is just on paper. To do this on the forum with a list style may mean updating when is necessary. It does depend on what your intentions are to be fair but that could be just down to me being a Dope on a Rope. I think I am trying to say about work load, when it may not be necessary. So I don’t make a catalog of my work on here, don’t promote every single piece of work. Don’t have YT no Meta or no other social media. It all takes time, time away from matters most, not how successful we are but how well the end product of a livery is. So maybe it’s something to consider when opening up a different thread or try creating something that adds more work load to what you may have already. This is me speaking from experience, it’s not always about the fan fair that to me is quite vain. My Son and his mates want me to do YT videos but I can’t nor won’t. Why because the more I do with a YT channel or on here then it distracts me from my work. Work and the enjoyment fans get from the end product is all I care about. Not creating more workload or spending time on unnecessary promotion, as yes the work both of us do requires that, but again if the work is different and executed correctly or even done tastefully then all that will speak for it self. But for the work to do that takes time, so again I had the same idea as you but it’s not important. Spending half hour on a photo or sit look at the profile of loco to get the feel of it. To me that’s time we’ll spent. Not on extra work load or having a fancy jumped up YT. Anyway I have started my little rants again?. If so I’d best stop. But as I say maybe something to consider, you just never know I might place something out the blue on here. But for now I’ve got “LNER She’s Electric” beaconing. But if I feel some is worth a FLYBY. Then with ATC clearance I will drop in when I get the time to strap in. Chocks Away ✌

Hello and good evening to you all I know it's been a while, but I have an exciting update. I've taken the next step with some art projects and I've decided to go digital for a bit. I'm just getting used to using the software, but if successful, I might get back into regular releases again. To show you all what I've been working on, here's a WIP photo I hope to eventually move on to more complex designs, but for now I'm using the Blackpool trams as a base (I'm not too sure what their model name is, but if anyone has an idea comment below). I've started another design today for the 197. Just a small nod to a friend of mine on the forums . If I can, I'll try making a design for the front only as well incase anyone wants to use it for anything.
Mornings:’ Sure mate send the info when you can mate. Currently I’m trying to work a few things out for my plans to put forward at the meeting. And Trams, well as Kid in the 80 went on may Trains. The Boat Tram and the Rocket Tram. As I child all I can remember is the clonking on the heavy underside and frame. The low yellow glow from the interior lights. I do remember feeling quite uncomfortable being so close to others but I will never forget the feeling I had in that moment. It’s why I love this song. . Riding on Top of Car. The History, The People all in the past now gone. Faded away. So I like this History and nostalgia of Trams, over actually Trams themselves. I’m not a fan of the new stuff. It’s cold in appearance. Here I may look at a Tram sim title, yet not the moment with how much deal with. Trams may have to wait until I could devote time to those new interest. Maybe one day. Lee✌.

Good evening, I'm back now. I hope to improve my skills to make images for Rail 200 if these projects on Krita work. If you are happy for me to, I'd like to make graphics for each of our liveries we make for R200 as a side project when I'm not making liveries. This is just a proposal however which I can discuss in detail in our meeting later. JPlayz
No no it’s fine, if it’s something you’re wishing to do then don’t let me stop you. That’s your free time. As I say I can only instruct or guide in terms of the Project. But we can see we could do with this. It’s all new to me you see so, may takes some time for me to fully grasp it all. ✌
