The M2/M4/M6 EMUs are one of my favorite DLCs in Train Simulator Classic! The M2s were built in 1973-1976 by Budd Company, they come in Married Pair configuration and they were the Cosmopolitans of all the MTA Metro-North Railroad's (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) New Haven Line between 1973 to 2018. The M2s were capable of changeover between Third rail and Overhead Catenary Wires between Mount Vernon East Station and Pelham Station. The M2s also had bar cars operated by CDOT (Connecticut Department of Transportation). The M4s were built in 1987 by Tokyu Car Corporation, they come in Triplet configuration and were the first Triplets on the Metro-North Railroad. Finally, The M6s were built in 1993-1995 by Morrison-Knudsen, they also come in Triplet configuration (Just like the M4s). The M6s were different than the M2s and M4s, M6s had larger and black framed windows and had a different sounding door chime. Unfortunately, the M2s, M4s, and M6s were sadly all retired between 2014 to 2018 in replacement of the Modern Kawasaki Heavy Industries M8s. Only one surviving M2 pair is on display at the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, CT.

Thanks to Reppo Simulations, for creating this DLC in 2020, It really brings back memories for this legendary railcar who served on the Metro-North Railroad for almost a half of century. Never forget the railcar's amazing and unbelievable memories and journeys we ever had on the MTA Metro-North Commuter Railroad.
