Was thinking of something like Epic Games where you log in with your account in game and you get to access your content from said game regardless of the platform. Saves people from having to spend again on DLC they've already purchased on another platform.

Will never happen. No games allow you to do cross platform dlc. That's just impossible. Consoles and pc are completely different pieces of hardware and software. Also the different platforms do not work for free. That is why competition exists

This would be great! Feel stuck on console, with no mods etc. as I own all my content on PS. When I first started TSW, mods weren't really a thing (I was in right from 'Train Sim World'), but now mods are sorely needed

I'm sure someone asked for this like last week or the week before (Honestly every week just rolls into one for me at this point)

This'll never happen. Different stores have different licences due to the company behind them (steam, epic, Microsoft or Sony) all being different companies. Sony aren't going to give you a free product essentially simply because you own it on Steam or epic, or vice versa. Just like you won't get a free download of a paid for app on the apple app store just because your previous phone was an android that you had purchased said app on.

The closest to cross-platform dlc ownership your gonna get is between xbox and ms store PC, which already happens

And that's probably only because they both go through Microsoft.
