I found a way to solve this problem. Go to the BR146 at the end of the train. Enter either of 1 cabs, go to back panel which Battery Switch at, switch the [Drivers Brake Valve] to Cut-off. That avoid the affect BR146 to BP pressure. Although the brake force was still very weak. I'm not sure if it according to real life behavior. At least we can control BP pressure correct.
Also, I know quite late now to mention this but, although I appreciate the progression with now being able to open the windows on the ICE T compared to the other 400 series, I do not appreciate the regression in not being able to pull down the blind nor to control the opaque passenger/driver separation glass. May be entirely empirical but especially the former can actually be a great aid in improving game performance if you pull it down some.
The blinds are functional, but they're electrical and the switch is somewhat hidden behind the brake lever.
Thank you very much! Even better then! EDIT: Did find though, that basically everything in a few hundred meter radius around Wachtersbach, that isn't rail or sidewalk (that is, dirt, grass and the two asphalt parking lots nearby) has no collision and you just fall through the floor forever. Roughly from the underpassage of the station northwards up to the second car overpass in a few hundred meters....
I want to mention something I noticed, which seems not to be a "real effect". It is not related to this specific route. It is related to one feature related to locomotives... When you are driving on daytime, the headlights looks too strong - at daylight time- , over the rails in front of the train, from both outside and inside. But of course mainly from out side! Look at this picture of the ICE-T: Too bright And now, look this one of the US Route: Not light effect at all. What do you think?
Now with the introduction of S-BAHN Frankfurt could we please look at an aligned TT for FTF.. Would be nice to route hop to the same TT to continue on with other services, makes the multiple DLC feel as one! Same time and date S-bahn FTF
I had no idea these big PIS screens exist at Frankfurt! Is this some sort of mod, or have I really failed to notice them in-game?
Mod, https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...ons/i5928-db-abfahrtstafel-station-pis-boards Definitely shows how much more can be achieved but guess DTG get a little nervous every time they might add something due to the memory issues plaguing consoles more then PC.. They could also be better add tidying up their data as the quality of the data fed to TSW's PIS system varies from route to route, sometimes resulting in blank/incomplete entries on the display boards as seen according to the developer.
Also, all RB52 services starting from Fulda are for some reason called RB61 ? And nearly all services from Fulda platform 36 are missing the destination. So is the 19:38 one from platform 37.
Yeah this become more and more apparent lately. There are for sure a lot of things DTG would want to implement to enhance immersion and player experience, but the first thing they always have to ask themselves...." Are consoles able to handle it? ". And it will not getting any better until Gen 10. Now it's just tinkering around with optimisation or cutting content. Modding shows the true potential what can be done, if you don't need to care about multi platform compatibility, or have to deal with 8 years old budged hardware limitations. Backwards compatibility is another elephant in the room.
Untested Frankfurt - Hanau timetabled service with Expert 101 cab car IC 2027 Hamburg-Altona to Passau 18:20 this should be a 15 minute run as far as Hanau from Frnkfurt Hbf but the silly service dies as soon as it has loaded on PS5 because placing that train in that station sent us thru a red signal. I am the one seeing red ... PS there are only 8 services in that timetable on PS5.
Has anyone noticed any differences with the original base timetable on console? Playing this route recently and I've noticed that performance seemed better and blurry textures slightly less frequent. However, I realised potentially why as there are now no S-Bahn services at all (AI traffic - but the 423 can still be selected from the menu and all the AI traffic appears if you play these services). Moreover, I've also noticed a few other things too, namely all loco-hauled RE/RB services are operated by the 146, with no 114. Finally, I've also noticed no ICE-T in general, yet the ICE 1 and ICE 3 still appear; same thing with the 423, these locos can be selected via the menu though. So is this an error, or has there been some kind of update to reduce services and/or rolling stock to increase performance? I'm playing on Series X, so anyone else on console also confirm this? Thanks.
I too am playing on the Series X and have noticed this today. Arrived into Frankfurt Süd with no 423s to be seen and then remembered I’d seen your post earlier which jogged my memory. I was mucking around in free roam last week or perhaps the week before though and most certainly still had 423s running around as AI trains with that. It’s a shame of course, especially given I’m using a Series X, but I suppose an improvement if it stops the route from crashing. Still have the blurry textures but maybe less? It’s hard to definitively measure a before / after other than just the feeling - though I don’t remember seeing any announcement about the removal of the 423s, so as you say, perhaps it’s not the intended behaviour. No S-Bahn services shown on the map, or any upcoming departures from the S-Bahn platforms at Frankfurt Süd.
Well, unless there they get an enlighting moment on their ongoing efforts to optimize memory usage within the core game..... I guess thats the best temporal solution to fix the console crashes and blurry textures at the moment. Reducing layers until it does not crash / blur anymore. Its unfortunate but crashes are by far the worst experience instead seeing a few less trains. It should not have happen in first place of course, but it is what it is.
Is it legal to remove content from a product for which you have previously paid? For example, a customer may have been happy to buy a particular route because of the additional layers and services (which the developer used as a sales pitch) and now feel cheated by the removal, which was done unilaterally and without any notice whatsoever.
So far a couple observations regarding blurry textures. I played an hour-long service from Wachtersbach to Frankfurt and the textures didn't blur at all; also the same for one of the short services between Hanau and Frankfurt. But, when departing from Frankurt, blurry textures seem to always be an issue by the time you get as far as Frankfurt Sud. I was wondering if you can notice the same thing on Series X too? Totally agreed. I absolutely dislike that content has to be reduced to get it working properly - but as you say, it shouldn't even be an issue you'd think for Gen 9 consoles... DTG Alex Apologies to tag, but can you confirm if the route has been updated at all as per the issues discussed above?
