Non Google Map Overlays?

It would be nice if you could overlay the historical survey maps. I can usualy trace the routes with Google overlay. Although, where there's towns been built over a disused railway, its all guess work.

Literally spent 100s of hours using Google overlays in a month and never been charged a penny! With the projected cost also at 0.00 towards the months end.

Hi maybe cause they gave you credit here's what mine shows but i did find out that bing maps also has a api key but that service will end june 2025 so far i haven't been charged yet only problem is i can barely see the train signals on the overlay map.

 

Google will waiver any invoice less than $200.

I do not know if Bing Maps is compatible with TS.

Signals shouldn't be placed using the overlay. You should use network diagrams and cab videos to figure out where to place them and what to put down.

 

Signals are a bit tricky yeah. I use survey maps and there's another site that tells you the location of signals and gradients. Uk. I can't remember what it's called but I'm sure someone on the forum knows.
If its not to far to travel then I will ride the route irl, filming and making notes for stuff like that.

 

Im making a Houston texas usa map so UK won't work you got a link of a survey map so i can find the signals i need.

 

Do you know where i can find a map to place the signals the crossing gates iv found.
