Are they still planning on binning the class 90/DVT pack? If they are I won't get it. Half of the AP addons I have, have now been withdrawn and so I don't want to get another which will be taken down soon/at all.
That's true, but I make scenarios which I publish and some sites like ATS don't like it when you publish scenarios with content that is no longer available.

I get the reason for that, but you can still publish using whatever you want. If you want to use the old Class 142, use the old Class 142. If you want to use the old MTU (heck, they still sell a product needing that!), then use the old MTU. There is nothing stopping you. If people whine, too bad. You don't own it yet, you can't build with it. They want you to use it instead, they should buy it for you.
to be honestly. I dont think you should be worrying about that at the moment? With how I see it, unless they mentioned it in their newsletter and that they ARE making a new model for the class 90 and DVT. Its then I would worry rather or not should I get it. Because at the moment a lot of the existing class 90 and dvt reskins make use of that add-on. I would still get it if i were you (at a discount ofc).
That was nearly 3 years ago. That thread has been locked because of arguing. I have written to AP to see what the situation is on the Class 90/DVT.
I got a reply from AP saying, "There are no plans to remove this pack as things stand, but anything could change."
now that you mention it, i also remember asking about it when i had an enquiry in relation to the class 90 pack and they said nearly the same.
Things can always change. That's why my HAA scenarios are safe and sound. And other removed wagon scenarios.
