The class 180 for tsc isn't great, I think it would be a good idea for Dovetail, AP, ATS, etc to create an updated Adelante pack. The Pack could also have the now-retired EMR Class 180 attached below. This Pack should have a working horn using the space and b keys and would be a good addition to tsc.
An updated one which includes the First Great Western and First Hull Trains colours would be a great idea. The original product was only ok due to the poor braking, although ATS released a patch for it, which included and extra livery but it is now more unstable and regularly crashes in scenario editor for me.
I had actually seen that one, but when I googled it to see what people said, I heard that the game crashes regularly with that installed.
I made 3 scenarios using the DTG 180 & the MJW Revamp pack for the player train & I had no issues with the Revamp pack at all. If other users had issues with the pack then it may be one of those TSC idiosyncrasies where 2 end users can install the same freeware mod & it work perfectly for one and cause crashes for the other. Of course the only way to find out if it works for you is to install it but if it does cause crashes then you’ve got to unpick the installation.
It might be my PC, my old laptop used to cause TS to crash somewhere on almost all routes I had apart from Bristol to Exeter and GWML Paddington to Oxford/Didcot. My current laptop only crashes regularly in certain places on only one route but with the ATS Class 180 update, it will crash as soon as I put the train on the tracks in the scenario editor.
