    Hi All
I have an issue with the Class 395 EMU. Every time I drive the Class 395 in the high speed section of the London to Faversham route the emergency brake keeps coming on and then I have to apply the emergency bake again and then notch 1 to keep moving forward. If I read the manual correctly the numpad enter key should be used to reset the DSD. However this key has no effect except for a bleeping sound. On the other hand the AWS reset key works correctly when I encounter yellow signals for instance.
Any information on how to resolve this issue will be appreciated. Thank you.

The manual does say that reset DSD is numpad enter but I don't recall ever having to use that.
I'll have a go later and see what occurs.
My only other advice would be to watch your speed changes on the CTRL sections. A flashing speed lower than the current line speed means an upcoming limit and you need to respond to those drops quickly otherwise it will slam the anchors on.

I was looking thru the manual and then tried the train to confirm
Note there are Two Different Alarms which will/might sound

When the Vigilance alarm goes off you reset it with the Number Pad Enter key.
It will go off about every 60 seconds.

And there is a TVM Over Speed which activates if you go faster than the speed shown on the TVM display. Put the brake all the way to Emergency and when the alarm stops you can take power again

Thank you very much Guys. Following your advice I seem to have the hang of it now. My mistake was to follow the speed on the HUD in stead of the TVM display on the CTRL section, resulting in over speeding, hence the emergency brake kicking on.
