Xbox Series X Command Function Notifications

The last couple of days these aren't showing for me eg wipers on, doors open, headlights on etc. the ones showing on the right side of the screen.
Does anyone else have this, or have I inadvertently turned something off?

 

Is "Notifications" off in settings? That makes these pop up, although on some trains not at all.
