All DTG can do is Remaster what is in-game now; new and added trains/routes/services are not an option at this time, as we, the players, know it. It would be nice to expand on GWR, but licensing has been lost, and whether they will ever get it back is anyone's guess.

Yeah and this would be one of the favourite routes for a modern GWR route

Well you have to wonder whether there’s a better than even chance this could be the TSW6 UK route, given the GWR licence announcement. Behind the scenes, we don’t know how long this might already have been back in place but DTG just kept schtum while they worked out what to do with it.

I stand corrected, I missed a few streams, due to family matters, and I just did not check a lot of things out, got a fair amount of homework to do.

In fact, the game already has a section from Paddington to Reading, just need the remaining section from Reading to Bristol

Yes - I guess either an option for route hopping (if a modern timetable was also added for PAD - RDG and OLE was added), or I guess it could be duplicated and extended like (I believe) LIRR was

Only issue with that is that the overhead wires even under the remaster are not going all the way to Reading as the TT is based on 2017 ( :( ) and stop at Hayes and Harlington I believe, so the Elizabeth line couldn't be added with what is requested above with the 345..we are getting the 387 but that will only go as far as the wires... 800s could be used since they are Bi mode but will be unrealistic to the date being used...

Our only hope for a more modern day TT is through a modded TT for PC with the use of God Mode to enable those trains in game (including the 345 used on the Mildmay line) to go all the way to reading (which I hope happens) without the need for overhead wires

With regards to any extension for Paddington to Reading, it would be far more prudent to add ALL of the Thames Valley branches both passenger and freight which have been obviously absent since launch. Perhaps extension to Oxford and Newbury could also be achievable within the same pack. Sadly it seems like this is a non starter meaning that we will never get the branches. Reading to Bristol might be a better stand alone add on.
The only realistic way to ever get the desperately needed branches is if somebody seriously takes up my previous suggestions for 'BRANCH LINE MINI PACKS '. This would be a good remedy to many of the various missing branches on multiple UK routes.
