I think the district like would be a great addition to add to the TSW network & this route is quite short in comparison to Ealing/Richmond to Barking/Upminster. it’s a win win - the route isn’t quite long compared to the other routes, there’s a mix of suburban & subway stations & its from a popular line in London.
Not sure this route would be long enough to appeal without the rest of the District and Circle/H&C Lines. One advantage of this section is that IIRC, all the stations are cut and cover thus avoiding the tricky light baking which has deterred DTG from doing much in the way of routes with sub surface stations (though there are a couple on the new FSN route). I would personally find the route more interesting when still operated by the C69 stock, than the S.
