Route London Underground District Line Upminster - Ealing Broadway/richmond

    INTRODUCTION

    Today I will be suggesting the District Line operated by London Underground (owned by Transport For London.) This route will have 46 stations in total and will be 26 miles (41 km) long.


    THE ROUTE

    The route starts at Upminster, located in East London, ending at Ealing Broadway and Richmond, located in West London & South-west London

    The S7 stock manufactured Bombardier Transportation at Derby Litchurch Lane Works as part of the Movia family 133 of these seven car trains were built from 2008- 2017 these trains have a maximum operating speed of 62 mph (100 km/h) and use CBTC and TRIPCOCK.


    S7 (7 car, fourth rail,used on Dc electrified lines )


    S7 - 1,209 seats 62 mph (100 km/h)

    Upminster - Ealing Broadway


    Richmond - Tower Hill
    Richmond - Barking
    Richmond - Hammersmith

    Richmond - Highstreet Kensington
    Richmond - Dagenham East


    Ealing Broadway - Dagenham East
    Ealing Broadway- Tower Hill
    Ealing Broadway - Barking
    Ealing Broadway - Highstreet Kensington

    Ealing Broadway - Hammersmith

    This train would also do additional services from Barking to aldgate East as a Hammersmith and city line train


    This train would run as a circle line from Tower Hill to Gloucester Road

    The 1973 stock manufactured by Metro-Cammell as a deep tube stock. 87½ of these six-car trains were built from 1974–1977. These trains have a maximum speed of 45 mph (72 km/h), and the safety systems enabled are Tripcock
    .



    1973 (6 car, fourth rail,used on Dc electrified lines )

    1973 - 684 seats 45 mph (72 km/h)


    Services:

    This train would run as a picadilly line from South Kensington - Ealing Common

    The D78 stock manufactured by Metro-Cammell 75 of these six-car trains were built from 1978–1981. These trains have a maximum speed of 72 km/h (45 mph), and the safety systems enabled are Tripcock.

    D78 (6 car, fourth rail,used on Dc electrified lines )


    D78 - 821 seats 45 mph (72 km/h)

    Services:

    This train would operate the same services as the S stock
