The Settle to Carlisle line is one of the most famous railways in the world and has a reputation for being the most beautiful line in the nation. It is a 73-mile picturesque route from Settle Junction-Carlise, crossing different terrains in the Yorkshire Dales and Northern Pennines. However, Settle Station isn't a massive station therefore ending at Skipton seems optimal. The reason I chose 1986 is because JustTrains have made Blackpool Branches and WCML: Preston-Carlisle in 1986. So now that route-hopping is a thing, We could go from the WCML to the Settle-Carlisle railway. New Locomotives and Trains BR Class 25 The BR Class 25 were found across the nation doing pretty much everything they were assigned to. 327 were built between 1961-1967 and could reach 90 MPH with 20,800 lbs of tractive effort and weighed 71 Tonnes. BR Class 108 The BR Class 108 were also found across the nation and worked regular stopping services until 1993. 333 were built between 1958-1961 and could reach 70 MPH and weighed 29.5 tonnes. Steam Railtour LMS Princess Elizabeth The LMS Princess Royals are well-suited express locomotives for the Settle-Carlisle with a high tractive effort and speed with royal glamour. And/Or SR Sir Lamiel Sir Lamiel hauled a lot of railtours across the Settle-Carlisle in the 80s There were a lot of other options like "City of Wells", "Sir Nigel Gresley" and "Duchess of Hamiton". Also included would be: -BR Class 47 -BR Class 101 -BR Class 08 -BR Class 142 Layers would consist of: -BR Class 20 -BR Class 31 -BR Class 37 -BR Class 40 -BR Class 45 -LMS Jubilee -LMS 8F -LNER Flying Scotsman
Idk, why its called Skipton - Carisle when you are referring shows the Settle - Carisle line map, also if its in 1986 then the map might not look the same, thing will most likely be diffrent, but apart from that, nice suggestion! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Route /Loco Suggestions Route - Cp Portugal Northern Line (linha Do Norte) | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - West Midlands Railway Class 196 | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Tgv Reseau Duplex | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Budapest Metro M3 Line | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Central Coast & Newcastle Line | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Class 88 | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Warsaw Metro M1 Line | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Amtrak Alc-42 | Dovetail Games Forums Route - London Underground Northern Line | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Schnellfahrstrecke Bern - Rothrist | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Class 442 | Dovetail Games Forums Route - London Underground Jubilee Line | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Bahnstrecke Wuppertal - Dusseldorf | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Marc Camden Line | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Ns Dm90 | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Mml: London St Pancras - Bedford | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Et420 Plus | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Ringbahn Berlin Circle | Dovetail Games Forums Route - London Underground District Line For Tsw5 | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Chiltern Mainline | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Class 99 For Tsw5 | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Dart Commuter | Dovetail Games Forums Loco - Tpe Class 397 'civity' | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Wien S Bahn: Wien Hauptbahnhof - Wiener Neustadt | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Wcml Trent Valley | Dovetail Games Forums Route - Bahnstrecke Dusseldorf - Koln | Dovetail Games Forums Feature Suggestions Feature - For Add-ons From Tsw2020 To Be Compatible With Livery Designer | Dovetail Games Forums youtube channel link here: (2) Hunterkerapi - YouTube
I thought I changed the name lmao and also I only used the map to show a rough estimate of what it could look like if you know what I mean
Microsoft Train Simulator had a Class 50 "Hoover" for their version of the S&C line. They would have been seen on the S&C and WCML. We could see railtours with the Hoovers on the S&C.
