So I turned on this R50 service, Riesa-bound, 5:14, with a double-traction BR 442 (Talent 2)... turned everything on, safety systems, lights of all kinds... aaand... for some reason, it gives me points for "correct cab setup", but for safety systems there is just a zero, and no matter what I do: - coming on time (except that one stop somewhere where you get a red and you cannot make it less than 1min late usually to the next one) - stopping with accuracy around 1-3m - no speeding or very little (usually a split second where I am lost in thought and get over limit like 1-2 kmh for a second) the target for platinum there is around 10k (probably around 10500 or so), and no matter what I do I cannot get more than 9800 pts like ok, not a huge deal, but the thing is, if you turn stuff on, maybe forget to turn on train/passenger lights or some minor thing like that, but you turn on safety systems, arrive on time, get accurate stops, you shouldnt have a problem passing the platinum target, since that says yeah, you have done everything right... but if you do stuff and still cannot get past the target, something is wrong any idea if this is just a scoring bug (Dresden Riesa is supposed to work alright with new scoring system) or have I forgotten to turn sth on which makes the game register the safety stuff better? in the screenshots you can see that I have safety stuff on, the service, and the scoresheet of my latest run (my best run was 9788, which again, isnt close to platinum target for some reason)... if you need additional information, just ask, if I remember, I will provide it
Does/should PZB bridging count as safety system? Or what am I missing here? It is frustrating to really play the service to the best of your ability and still not getting proper pts :/
Update June 11th: Tried more RE50 services with 442s, same issue - +35 with everything set up right (I think)... tried then with Dostos, and it did +65 as it should on its RE50s... it is as if the game doesnt detect the safety stuff going on
I feel kinda dumb for bumping my own thread, but I kind off found out that the issue is with BR 442, somehow on Dresden Riesa it doesnt really register the safety systems at all, gives 0 pts, so I end up with regular +35 pts instead of +65 pts, rendering it impossible to get platinum medals
Same here, reported it on forum already some time ago. Today DTG released Train Sim World 4 June 24th Update - DE Improvements - but it's still not fixed.
The same thing for me. Drive assist says "Turn on safety systems to achieve more score", but SIFA is turned on and works fine as well as PZB. But at the end I get 0 points for not using safety system. As a result only gold medal.
so many ppl have this showing up, never seen any tooltip telling me I forgot to turn sth on... either cos I have Expert mode in Player Assist options, or I indeed almost never forget sth... or it just plain doesnt how me... no idea... so I always check stuff up... and scoring usually is a good indicator - an example - if you dont have some safety stuff going on, you get +30, if you dont but you turned train lights on, correct headlights etc, you get +35... and with safety stuff and everything, you should get +65... also pts for stops and such are different if you drive with safety systems on
Im on xbox x and this is still a problem play with everything correctly and yet 0 at the end for safety systems used. This so frustrating its going on for so long. If they focus less on this new shhiiiittt and sort out the old stuff.
also, since Koln Aachen update, when under LZB (even on new Frankfurt S-Bahn route), you sometimes get +35 pts not +65 while under LZB... so thats a new bug
Whats the correct cab set up cause im not even getting points for that. What i do turn safety systems on switch lights on set destination and wipers if needed. There's nothing else to do is there ?
The only things so far actually checked by the scoring system are (I only know of Germany/Austria/Switzerland routes): - Sifa, PZB/Indusi (may have a breaker as well as a switch in some trains) - LZB on any train that actually has it available (may have a breaker as well as a switch in some trains) - GNT (ZUB breaker in cabinet) and GST (cab switch) additionally on the BR 612 - GNT and Neigetechnik (cabinet switches) additionally on the BR 411 ICE-T - If it is currently raining, any setting higher than 0/Parking of the wipers Things that so far are NOT checked are: - Correct destination set (often it's impossible anyway) - Passenger lights (nor even power to the carriages in the first place actually) - Correct PZB mode - Position of PZB bridging switch where present - Any AFB setting - "Adequateness" of the wiper speed to the current weather (just in case you were wondering) P.S. The Dresden BR 442 and some trains on the latest Koln-Aachen timetable (when under LZB) are known bugs that result in not getting the safety system bonus at all.
Yeah can confirm too that specifically the scoring of the Dresden BR442 has been fixed and it will now correctly reward 65 AP on compatible timetables/routes if you travel with PZB+Sifa on (and wipers if needed). Getting 35 instead of 65 AP on some LZB-equipped trains while under LZB (even with everything set correctly) on the new Koln Aachen timetable however still happens.
