A great route, well described and presented, if it ever materialises I would purchase it the same day it's released.

Would support this, Waterloo is one of the major London termini we are still missing in TSW and unlike all the others actually allows for a number of classic London landmarks to be glimpsed (London Eye, Houses of Parliament). A run to the coast would be perfect.

If not Portsmouth, then how about Waterloo to Guildford with the inclusion of both the old (via Woking) and new (via Effingham Junction) lines?

Plus the branch line to Hampton Court - only two additional stops, another landmark to glimpse, and creates another perfect (30min) commuter journey that would be different from the mostly semi fast Woking services.

Hopefully it will be easier for DTG to finally get the SWR licence now that it has been taken over by DfT.

Day 1 purchase for me too.
