I have had every version of TSW on STEAM. On the release of the free starter pack i upgraded to TSW5 using this. I did not purchase the full version. I have recently purchased a code for TSW5 standard edition from a website similar to CDKeys. Howeer on putting the code in it says i already own the game. Issue being i dont have the DLC that comes with it. Any advice a to how i can get this to work? If i remove TSW5 from my account will i lose any DLC content i have previously purchased? Thanks.
If you've bought something from an unauthorized retailer, you may have been given the wrong key. For example, you may see the "Train Sim World 5: May Madness Bronze Bundle" in your product activations. This key was originally distributed by Humble Bundle as a charity bundle, and should not be resold. This bundle originally contained Train Sim World 5: Training Center and the Antelope Valley Line Route Add-on. It is not comparable with Train Sim World: Standard Edition. Example: Sadly, purchasing keys from an unauthorized retailer is a known risk, and you may not get what you paid for. In this case, the retailer, is reselling a charity bundle key, and wrongly labelling it as Train Sim World 5: Standard Edition. Your best course of action is to contact the retailer and ask for a refund. In such cases, we are unable to help.
