l bought all the Trainz issues up until the current release, and l have bought every TS release from the start. I never play Trainz these days, and haven’t for a couple of years now, does that answer your question? I found all the issues of the Trainz game to be similar and quite boring. For an Australian simulator l had hoped for some modern Sydney routes. Where Trainz scores over TS for me is that Trainz will work on Apple computer devices.
After MSTS was abandoned by MS I went to Trainz and purchased a few editions of it. Then in 2010, I went to Railworks 3, now TSC and haven't touched Trainz since.
