I have downloaded the UKTS Southwest route (Exeter to Waterloo) and have a problem with Exeter Central whereby the platform is missing and the benches are higher than the train cab. Reading the instructions I noticed that I don't have JT Mid Hants, do I take a guess that this route is used for the platforms etc? I don't really want to spend £20 just for 1 station and I'm not a massive steam fan either. I searched for missing assets through TSTools but it didn't flag anything. Can anyone confirm that the missing JT route will solve anything? Also cannot find the SW Wales route that is needed as the download link to the site is dead. Ta.
Had another look with TSTools and the stations are part of the Mid Hants route. I am also looking for the free SW Wales route that was available at 'Oakwood sheds' site but that is gone now. Does anyone know if it can be found anywhere else or better still that they may still have the route as it contains quite a few assets needed for the SW route.
My versions of this network are routes procured directly from Justtrains. Maybe the assets are from these.
TS Tools can't identify a missing asset, because you don't have it. If it's the only thing you don't have, yes. Do you mean South Wales Coastal? The original version was delisted years ago and you can't get it anymore.
If the Route says you need an Asset and you don't have it TS Tools will tell you its missing That is the whole point of TS Tools.

Many years ago, probably well over ten there was a freeware route based around the Pembroke area. It was well detailed for the time. I think the developer who was on UKTS had Pacer in his name. I think the download site is long gone, I don't have a copy of the route anymore.
How does It? The reason I don't have it is that it and other downloads I had at the time were stored on media, probably a USB stick, which is long gone. I wasn't as meticulous in what and where I backed files up onto in those days. It was good and was well regarded at the time.
We take care of things we value. If you didn't think it was worth keeping, it's probably what others thought about it as well. Since it doesn't exist now it's not going to help the OP.
Yes that's the route I'm looking for. It's needed for what is labelled SAD assets (lots of vegetation, signals etc) in the Southwest England Exeter to Waterloo route. Thanks, but this route is a freeware covering the whole SW trains route to London. I own both versions of SW Coastal and I quickly worked out how to find missing stuff using TST (I didn't see for looking) This SWW route was something that was highly regarded back in its day and I was hoping that someone might still have a copy as it's the only way of getting the only 'full' SWT route available working. There is always confusion when trying to ask about ancient routes lol. I may well abandon the idea of getting it running as the track gradient work isn't great in the first climb I came to, so who knows what the rest is going to be like!
I did keep it on something with other things like some early Meshtools items and some early AP items on some media which stopped working or got lost. I don't even know why I am trying to explain it, It was just some historical information, I didn't intend for it to become a Question Time debate! I thought some might find it interesting.
