I was wondering why DTG either layers the ICE 3 or the ICE 3M, but never both, on a route such as Mannheim-Kaiserslautern, where both trains are usually present.
Agreed. I just hope that if they make the SFS they will add both the MKN and KWG ICE 3s (not the KAH because of the lighting)... I assume one of these would be included anyways but using layers both should be available. Does the 403 run on MKN though? There is a layer for the 411 and I know this ICE line (15) is serviced by pretty much all types of ICEs but I think it's the 411 that runs to Saarbrücken.
I would most likely pre-order this route. Definitely if a new ICE is included! (BR412 my beloved) I could even see dtg release this route with the ICE3-neo as it can reach the 300 km/h of the route and add the ICE4 as an loco add-on (also instant-buy for me). It would even be a great route to finally try to implement real route connection, so you can drive all the way from Frankfurt / Mainz (or even Fulda and Kassel) to Aachen - maybe that's the big feature for TSW 6? (*huffs hopium*)
I agree! I just love the variety of this route with S Bahn services at cologne towards the Köln/Bonn Airport and Siegburg/Bonn and also some freight and RB/RE services around cologne!
Great suggestion, but unless the issues with Frankfurt (performance, missing layers, crashing) can be sorted out I wouldn’t buy this one
Well then time can be spent elsewhere to make the route even better. Reusing sections isn’t necessary a bad thing, especially if it’s a complex area
Exactly what I'm thinking. It seems to me that DTG in TSW is not adamant at reusing longer track sections on two routes but honestly in this case it just makes so much sense. They don't even need to light bake the Regionalbahnhof which will boost performance in that area. Definitely worth including and it wouldn't be too much work either...
