Cottbus to Frankfurt (Oder) This route is available now at RSSLO for €34.99 https://www.rsslo.com/

If you want to wait RSSLO have plenty of sales and in six months time you may possibly get it for 30% off rrp

Having spent €34.99 on the route you then need to spend €21.99 on the DB 463 Mireo unit to plat the scenarios
Or swap the Mireo for something else

A 143 +3 dd should do it, they were the de rigeur 20 years ago. Now what Polish stuff do we have for the Guben connection, freight cars not a problem but a loco? Ditto at Frankfurt an der Oder. A repainted BR182 would be apt for the last 10 years or so.

I'd think probably an EU07 or ET22, no idea if any of those are available for TS tho

Guben/Gubin is a diesel connection. Frankfurt used to be a diesel into Poland before the days of multi voltage electrics then they used ex DR Skoda180s and now PKP class 370 (similar to DB class 182, which is available in TSC). The PKP diesels are not available to my knowledge.

How about some glass half full comments. Isn’t it good that we have a NEW route!

I'll buy it when it comes to Steam.

I'm reassessing my purchases from 3rd parties that require on-line activation of DLC. I want to be sure they'll still be around in two or five years time when I want to reinstall.

Bought it. Very good representation of Cottbus and Guben, acceptable compromise of Eisenhuttenstadt (massive steel works - a project for another day?) and a good representation of Frankfurt (oder) Bhf . The large marshalling yard that used to be just North of the BHf at Frankfurt (Oder) Klingental is represented by some sidings not sure what's still there so no complaints. Since the Schengen agreement and through freights I doubt Klingental sees much(if any) use other than maybe cripples.
Plan to run Class 143 + 2/3 double deckers on passenger and Class 155 on the freights with class 346 V60(D) shunters.
I always save the download and file the password so have always got it (on a separate HDD).

Me to. But last time I installed it required an internet connection to activate, so presumably it still needs RSSLO's server to be up.

    Same here
You can go to your account and download the DLC you have purchased at any time in the future
It does require the server at RSSLOs end to be running. Would the install file still work if RSSLO went bump?

Rather than connecting it to Poland, I would like to see a connection to the Berlin routes in TSC... that would make an interesting network.

And then a connection between Dresden and Hof. Or Berlin and Hannover. My “connect the dots” ocd wants this.

I wasn't requesting any connection to Poland, the route has three portals leading to Poland now. It would be prototypical to have the capability of running a freight into Guben and or Frankfurt using a Polish diesel however a repainted class 189 electric will do at the Frankfurt end but not at Guben. If you can have wishful thinking why can't I?

The CFR 060 DA is a good choice for a Polish loco - the Headlights are smaller but otherwise the locos are identical

Both locos were built in Romania

Thanks Peter, I have loads of 060 DAs, didn't make the connection and come to think of it (or remember) I've actually seen ST43s in Poland when I strayed over from CZ.
