Ive made my views on the CL4 & 86 not being on a shared timetable elsewhere, but I'd be interested in knowing DTG view on whether they think its acceptable that on WCMLOS it seems that there'll be no opportunity to have both running on the same timetable and if they feel that failing to mention this fact prior to CL4 being released is fair on the customer.

If they don't think this is acceptable/fair on the player, then what lessons have been learnt and what can be done to avoid similar situations in the future?

I agree. I love both third parties but whatever beef they've got between each other is having a negative impact on the game.

Most already asked, but to repeat the Roadmap needs to give significant news on the following:
Core improvements, not least performance, broken passenger system, save game issues etc. etc.
What has happened to the JT Class 86 pack given the release announcement was made without a date and gone into limbo?
Will we see the DB 420 for FSN this side of TSW6 or is it still in development hell or pending core improvements?
Are Tadami and the Class 104 still live or can we now regard as dead projects?
Are any DTG routes in the pipeline between now and September or are all efforts now directed into the TSW6 content packs?
Have SHG given up making routes or other major content such as new locos to go with the wagon packs?
Assuming TSW6 or a big content pack in September, when can we expect Dovetail Direct to start?

 

Where is the Koln-Aachen timetable for epic games ? And why is that different than steam?

 

I am hoping we hear some release dates especially Manchester Airport Commuter!

 

There is no beef JT just doesn't like to share their work, and it is their product so their choice.

It was the same in TSC.

TBH I.nearly fell off my chair when I heard ATS shared the PIS screen with Mildmay. As they are bad for it too.

 

Different when they didn't have much of their own rolling stock and were happy to use Rivet's Seacows and DTG own back library of BR locos to beef out Blackpool Branches. Its the co-operation between 3rd parties that brings so much to every route and Id say Blackpool Branches success owes a lot to that co-operation, imagine if it had purely been released with the 142 and Class 08? Would we all have been raving about it as much as we did?

 

Any news on the Mittenwaldbahn patch(es), that are said to be "coming soon" since... March?

 

What is the latest with fixes and what if anything are the team fixing now?

Also what do you guys has been the defining release of the year so far

 

- When will we get the new Köln-Aachen timetable on PS5?
- When will TSW5 be improved enough for a full timetable on S-Bahn Frankfurt?

Are there any plans to overhaul, or completely redo, that passenger NPC logic? Passengers look pretty good now (save some oddly unseasonal clothing), but their behavior remains just as weird as it was in TSW1. Surely they can be "programmed" to go to a particular destination station, walking to a platform, boarding and debarking accordingly?

 

Any kind of update on the 158 timetable for the Fife Circle would be welcome !

And who can forget JT's policy on their early Railworks/TSC routes of using many OG Kuju assets to fill out their own routes and as they couldn't build their own rolling stock, the Thames Trains Class 166 was repurposed to do local services on their Edinburgh to Dundee route. I know this is veering OT for the Roadmap thread but I said elsewhere, all this content is being published by DTG as part of the TSW brand. Third parties should be talking to and working with each other to provide the best customer experience.

 

Any news/update on the new sounds for the Class 150 for Cardiff? Was mentioned in the last big update that they were still under review, been a few weeks now.

2. What’s going on with US content? Since the release of TSW 5 there’s been 1 US route & loco dlc, I fear the American player base is being left behind.

Matt mentioned, quite some time ago, on another thread that the in-house API would be released with an upcomming update to the editor. Is there any news on either the API or the promised editor update?!

Was the UK Gameplay Pack on the May Roadmap the Thomas 80th Anniversary pack?

Would you consider sharing a log of known or acknowledged core game issues/bugs along with commentary of planned or possible fixes or barriers to fixing? Not everything anyone has ever reported, but a list you are happy sharing. Bit like an FAQ of bugs or issues that people can reference or be pointed to to for updates and avoiding having to repeat the same message. Good to have them on record too, even if there is no fix, just so we know you know.

The player feedback forums are great, but I cant see one for core game issues. You also have to wade through a fair bit to see what's already been said. It's also not very concise or verified information.

Please update announcement of Class 86 with launch date. Just adding to this theme as I really really want it!

 

Possibly postpone the stream but release the news. Maybe the possibility for someone else to do the driving, Jamie perhaps.

DTG Alex How do you reflect on the player feedback provided for the recent DLCs released? Specifically Zwolle-Groningen and Frankfurt S-Bahn. I feel like the Dutch route came out stellar and Frankfurt S-Bahn (at least with the full timetable) is excellent as well, besides some dispatcher issues. Is the improved quality of the DLCs something we can look forward to in upcoming DTG products down the line? If so, I'm super pumped for what is yet to come.

Also, I hope everything is okay, family emergency-wise.

 

What is the current progress in terms of performance for the likes of West Coast mainline South and Frankfurt fulda and are their plans to make improvements to other routes as well in terms of performance?
