Been building up a quick drive scenario for this route. Seems that when starting the dispatcher will route the train a completely wrong way. I started on the Dn goods adjacent to Pl 7 and got routed to Hooton. Same again out of the bay at Llandduno Jcn and routed to Llandudno when my go via was Penmaenmawr. At Bangor halfway through my go via was Plat 2 and it puts me through the DN through line. Any tips on why it's completely messing up here?
The route already has Quick Drive scenarios - compare those with what you are trying to do. If you have a go via Penmaenmawr it should not send you down the Llandudno branch
Will have a look tonight. I tick go via for every part of the path on the route. Maybe that's an issue in itself?
In the german forum is a wiki.article to quickdrives (you can use some translator). Chapter 2.3 - 2.5 might be interessting for this case: https://rail-sim.de/forum/lexicon/entry/39-quick-drive/ There might be simple an overseen mistake in the QD. So check in detail, if every entry is in correct order, every waypoint can be reached from your departure track, if entry´s have "via" ticked on (but that means you can´t have a drive-through track beside a platform track at same time), and so on. I dont know how/where the locations are, so another possibility is: your player start marker "looks" into the wrong direction? That would cause the train gets spawned in opposite direction as you want to go. I know by now only one route where even a correct set up QD let not go a train to that destination he should and thats on the S1 Cologne Extension route by DTG (that route is a complete mess in lot of things). On another older route (Peterborough - York) I had the case that the dispatcher couldnt find a waypoint, but the QD was set up correct. There was some problems with the destination markers / station markers (dont know anymore which ones). Only after I prevented to use one of those markers as waypoints it worked.
