Hello. I have been wondering were the SD60M went on both the Steam and Dovetail stores. I saw a while back that it would be included free with a copy of TS (2016 I think), but that is the last time i have seen it. I have searched through the jungles of the world wide web, but I think it is gone for good. I thought it was a nice locomotive, and I would love it to be available once more. Thanks for any info and God bless.

Thanks Peter. I got the Sherman Hill route as a gift last year, but for some reason, it's not in my library. I'll have to check again.

When i purchased the yearly edition (TS 2016) that had SH the triclops was included in it as with the turbine engine

Not sure if the standalone route has them

Thanks. I received TS 2014 for Christmas of that year, so I had to get the standalone route. I actually forgot about the turbine as well, don't know when that disappeared either.

Do a quick check by trying a Quick Drive and if the SD60M is in your system it should be there to pick
See also if the Sherman Hill Route is installed - it should be able to choose in a Quick Drive.
If you cannot see it go in to Build then go down the list of installed routes to see if Sherman Hill is shown.

If you don't find it in Build - Close Train Simulator and look in your Steam Client
Click on Library and chose Train Simulator
    Right Click > Properties
In the box that appears the last Tab is DLC
Go down the list and see if the route is shown - it might be there but not installed for some reason
The box next to the loco and route would be unticked and at the bottom of the list
You just tick the box and it installs.

This process works in reverse as you can remove an item from your game without ever losing it
I don't have the US Content installed on mine as I was not playing it as much

    Hey Peter,
Thanks for your help. I did like you said but no luck. Sherman Hill is installed, the SD60 is not in quick drive and I can even find it in the consist or scenario editor. Think I should start a ticket with support, to see if I can get it?

Yes, I would. It is advertised to come with Sherman Hill so a ticket might help resolve the problem

Hello, Peter. Wanted to give an update on this. I did like you suggested, and I'll let the screenshots say the rest. DTG was very helpful.

I need to do this since I just recently bought the same route and also did not include the stated SD60M or the gas-turbine locomotive.

For anyone wondering, BTW, the Battle for Sherman Hill package on SteamDB includes the SD60M and Gas Turbine directly, as well. So buying that package, if you for some reason never downloaded the pair, SHOULD give them to you. So you should have, not counting workshop, 43 scenarios when all is done (5 Big Boy, 4 Challenger, 15 Gas Turbine, 4 SD60M, 6 original, and 9 bundle-exclusive). I did the research, and you should have this for the SD60M:
    1. Simple Controls Training: SD60M Union Pacific
    2. Expert Controls Training: SD60M Union Pacific
    3. Rest and Rehabilitation
    4. Fully Fuelled [sp] Rescue
So if those scenarios are missing, and you can't find the loco anywhere, then you will want to check with DTG. I've already seen a plethora of negative reviews and tried to post an educational explanation of how it works, linking to the SteamDB listings in said review. Seems I am helping some people with that explanation, which is good.

It's also unfortunate that some reviews may be posted using content that isn't from Battle for Sherman Hill as a means to negatively review the bundle. I get why, but if the SD60M just didn't download for you, that's easy to fix by contacting Support, and I already had an...interesting discussion with a certain...jerk (it's part of his name) regarding his unwillingness to do that, and eventually saying stop buying DLC if it's such an issue. He's convinced that I work for DTG now. I told him to ask Support that question if he doesn't believe I don't. LOL

treid09, enjoy the loco! And everything else if you got the Battle bundle. I am literally going to start my own Train Simulator streaming with visits to Sherman Hill now instead of the classic London routes I planned to visit.
