I'd like to add the Settle & Carlisle Line and Ffestiniog to your route list. For locos, I'd like to add the Stadler Class 99, 88, and 93, Class 60, and Class 58. Another steam loco to add: LMS 5P5F "Black 5."
Plus working gsmr and realistic changeable destinations to mirror reality after all tsw is a simulator
A rather ambitious shopping list. Not saying some or all would be highly desirable but the chances of anything not set after 2015 unlikely to be in DTG’s very narrow band of choices for future DLC.
I'd like to see Waterloo to Portsmouth although I guess we would probably get Waterloo to Clapham junction with the current trend of short routes. Some nice suggestions.
I am just wondering how long was the list of stuff you wanted off Santa? It is a fantastic list, I support it 100%, but I just don't fancy our chances of getting all of it, maybe narrow it down to just your favourites.
Yeah, buy a load of lottery tickets, you have to win something. It is good having a long list, but choose what you would want the most, what is your favourite? The problem with a huge list is that it can be off putting, DTG scan through the forum looking for ideas and a list of suggestions could be picked, but a large list could be skipped over because you are asking too much.

That was built before the more recent mindset at DTG, that only modern sells - at least for in house stuff. When TSW first came out we got a nice cross section of old and new but due to pressure from what appears to be above even EP (Matt’s) level, they have pretty much been limited to what the bean counters will sell by the bucket load.
Oh yes, don’t get me started on DTG’s pitiful treatment of steam traction. Both SoS and PFR were announced with huge fanfare, but quietly left to rot in the naughty corner. Iconic possibilities like the S&D, Riviera Line in steam days or one of the longer Welsh narrow gauge routes have been sacrificed on the too difficult/doesn’t sell dogma.
171 on East Coastway only goes between Ashford International and Eastbourne. DTG will have to make the rest of the route + the Marshlink if we are to have the 171s fully utilised. I would love for there to be an East Coastway and Marshlink DLC in one.
Things we need? Or rather things you want .... There are so many quite useless wishlist posts here every week. DTG only has limited resources and usually goes for the most wanted (in their infallible opinion) and essentially gives us more of the same. What is already licensed, easiest to produced based off existing models, etc. etc. Only 3rd parties may surprise us once in a while with something original.
Agreed. Suggest one thing to work on and back it up with WHY that ONE thing should be added. A random list doesn't do anything.
