Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition! This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: • TSC only shots allowed. • Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. • You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. • 3rd party content / Re-shades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. • Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). • The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). • The Judge of the week's decision is final. • We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor, this is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. • Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 11:59PM EST on Saturday, June 14th 2025 and will be judged by me - malikrthr In the event of this week's winner not responding by 10PM EST on Sunday, June 15th 2025, a new thread will be created using the results of this week's poll. The theme for this week is: "Classic Locomotives" Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to you all.
A loco restored to classic condition with some modern twists 37402 'Oor Wullie', sporting period appropriate black headcode boxes and Scottie Dog and definitely not period appropriate LED lights and GSM-R leads a test train out of Preston
The Classic LNER 225 set hauled by the iconic Class 91 loco, in my opinion one of the best and most comfortable trains to have graced the UK Network.
A "Classic" German loco if ever there was one. From the late 1960s through to the 2000s the BR218 series could be found in a varied selection of liveries, hauling a wide variety of passenger and freight services, right across the DB network.
Classic or Classy? An oceanblue-beige E18 with a matching set of UIC-X coaches make their way to Augsburg
4960 "Pyle Hall", awaiting the Green @ Newton Abbott. The GWR Hall class was a classic GWR mixed traffic loco introduced in 1924 and ran until the late 1960s albeit in a modified design state.
The GWR 4073 Class, better known as the Castle Class was truly a classic British steam locomotive produced from the success of the Great Western Railway. 171 were built and were a large part of the GWRs adored express locomotive fleet for their high power and speeds. Here, British Railways 4073 Class '5033' 'Broughton Castle' hauling 8 coaches crosses over the Greenway Viaduct on the Kingswear Branch hauling the Torbay Express to Kingswear, England in the United Kingdom. Motive Power: GWR 4073 Class Route: Riviera Line in the Fifties: Exeter - Kingswear Scenario: 14. The EMD SD40-2 needs no introduction. Over 4,000 have been built since 1972 and been used by practically every North American freight railroad under the sun and in other continents as well where in many corners of the world the SD40-2 continues to see use in active service. Here, Union Pacific Railroad EMD SD40-2 '3300' in a very patriotic livery typical to the United States of America is seen on driver training duties shunting a few hoppers at a cement production facility just south of Laramie, Wyoming on the aptly named Laramie Subdivision of the Overland Route. Motive Power: EMD SD40-2 Route: Sherman Hill Scenario: UP 3300 Engineer Training Enhancements: Armstrong Powerhouse Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0 + Armstrong Powerhouse Cloud Enhancement Pack, Reshade
The DB Class 151s are a classic German electric freight locomotive with 170 built from 1972-1978 by multiple manufacturers boasting an absurdly impressive 6,288 kW (8,432 hp) of power. In this shot DB Cargo Class 151 '151 135-1' is seen returning light engine to Köln-Deutzerfeld late at night after dropping off a load of tanker wagons nearby at Köln Messe/Deutz in North Rhine-Westphalia. Motive Power: DB Class 151 Route: Cologne-Dusseldorf Scenario: 5 - Freight traffic Enhancements: Armstrong Powerhouse Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack 2.0 + Armstrong Powerhouse Cloud Enhancement Pack, Reshade
