Encountered a red signal that won't go green 0.9 miles from Euston. I don't know if this issue would be platform specific or not
Did you do a save game? It has been known to cause a red light bug. I just finished it a few minutes ago, PC-STEAM. In one sitting, I did see the red signals, and I slowed down to about 15MPH, I did get a yellow caution, and I did also get hit with a penalty TPWS entering the station, I was just over 15MPH, but was able to recover and stop where I should have. I was also 2 minutes ahead of schedule, surprisingly I wonder if this may have played a role in completing it.
service and a saved game, I see - I see. Most of the time saves work well but not always. If you find the same thing happens when not a save, then it goes like this.. #1 To Trains -> Route -> Service -> On Foot. #2 You must spawn on foot at the right place and right time. If the train is to leave at 12 noon, you must spawn at 11:55 AM at the latest since it might take a while to get the right platform (or siding ex: frieght service).
Here is a video I made a while back, showing what I found on this issue. The Save game is a hit or miss option in TSW__, sometimes it works as intended, more often than not it does not, I used it many times without issue, til a similar issue popped up with another player doing the very service in the video, use the save option sparingly.
That is your choice, It would be nice if it were fixed properly; many services are two hours long, or even 90 min, which makes it harder when the PC is shared as it is in our house. It's not knowing when an issue like this could happen when using the save game option.
Yeah it should be fixed. To be honest I only used it because I got bored in about the first half of the run and came back the next day.
Timetable runs are not the most entertaining. Keep in mind that many US freight runs can be very long and even less entertaining unless you enjoy them.
Yeah I would’ve enjoyed it if I had the appropriate stock to fill in, making the route feel more alive but it’s all on my PS4 that I stopped using. Had to start from zero basically
Yeah, is rough starting over on another system, do the best ya can with sales and trusted 3rd party sites like Humble Bundle and a few others. That is what I did, and what you get for say, TSW4 or 3 on sale, you get the TSW5 version with the exception of new TSW5 routes. They will have another mega sale, for sure.
