Hello all and welcome to another thread set up for Creators Club professionals. The nature of this thread is to find creators from livery creators down to formations creators who are open to working as CC professionals together in a project environment with a new project idea I have in mind. This is now but the team built up will allow others to work together on newer ideas from any team member. Each member has a unique skill or passion and so if pooled together have the opportunity working with like minded individuals to develop their ideas. Members than can work together while still being independent, what I’d call freedom or man management to reach a certain aim in a project so each member works in harmony without all the distortion that can come with discussing aims or tasks. Why I am calling this thread and team The Professionals. Ones that devote themselves to their passion and it shows. Been at it for years but looking for new challenges or ideas to be brought to life as a Team project. So any community members who have the same vision and mind set to be productive whilst being professional working in a group or team environment then let’s be professional about this. I know and we as members know there are some great people endlessly contributing, talented individuals who I feel if we all worked together what could be achievable. From Modders to scenarios, LD, formation etc you name it. Those serious about what they do and so grow with others that are serious about their approach or work ethic being part of TSW community. A community working as a community. Together to help support, to enjoy being here. Some work on coaches and can easily do, yet with the work I have on will delay me. Why rain on others parades too, if there as members that are skilled and knowledgeable in this area. More transparency now that time is nearly up. The plan the idea. A Team. Basically information about what any community member would be doing. The Thread is aimed specifically towards those who know what to do. Professional in some aspects of the word. Under the title of The Professionals. I would like to form 3 Sub Teams. UK. EU. US. UK Subgroup works on the Greatest Gathering on TSW5 a scenario planner. In that subgroup are others working on liveries or services. EU and US is the same set up. The 3 subgroups working on under separate title. Something that would fit the country’s tastes. Ideas for titles are open for discussion except for the UK one. The reason for this is at the beginning of the R200 Project I had a few people asking if it for just UK. Yes it is but why place restrictions on a simulator game. There is plenty of EU or US content that could be used for celebrating Railway 200. But my worry is can the logo be used outside the UK say. So to make sure that what I am suggesting isn’t frowned upon as I am not the owner of the Railway 200 logo. My solution is this. Any member who is interested can also design a logo and title for that event based on the EU or US. The member that does I’d allow to head that subgroup that bares their title and logo. That means they would communicate with others in that subgroup to hit their targets or goal. End date would be a day or two before the 1st of August this year. To polish and plan for presentation on CC or YT. The Important stuff. I came across an interesting conversation about something similar to creating TGG. Well I say conversation but more like a gif site. Smiles, gif’s are funny as Moving on, the OP wasn’t sure what to do etc and the mention of use or use for monetary gain came up. I didn’t say much to the OP as I felt he had enough already. But it seems that the only way is how I have been trying to do this for sometime and was there at one point. That is to form partnerships or build a team for not control by me and the success, but as a central place for others to work together based on common interests. And it can be done in a number of ways yet one thing must remain. Able to work as a team and man manage a task. Cogs that position together to run the mill. One cog fails mean the mill or task will grind to a holt. Not good. I used the word accountability because each person has responsibility. That means clearing up any use of content if used on YT if again what each subgroup make does get filmed. If so it’s imperative that any credit goes to the person or creator. It’s all agreed upon first. I cannot state this enough. Work added as a team or from an outside source or contributor must clearly identify these terms to be finalised. And each member is responsible for ensuring their work is covered so if money is a part of that then this must be discussed. For me I openly say now that I don’t ask for any money in return of use. All I do ask and have tried to do is protect the work by who and how it’s presented on their media platforms or even used as their own. (I noticed on CC someone else using my work “Windsor Lad”). It’s also to allow a certain theme or brand subject to be respected and manner I feel on a large scale should be considered. That company or persons reputation. Why again going back to setting a new team and projects it’s done so all are respected and given credit within a project. So there you go. One Big team working on 3 separate projects. It’s a massive ask and project yet I have years of experience in a work based setting dealing with nothing but planning, drivers duties logistics to delegating you name it. I say this as I know how some people might see me. Yet with the right people that share the same mindset on how they go about work I feel it’s still achievable in the time available. One last ditch attempt at getting us the community together working on a shared goal. No one has come forward here yet are attempting the same but not sure how. Here’s how. To form partnerships. Work with others that do know how, like I don’t know much about scenarios. I know others do rolling stock and so much more. An opportunity to put what ever differences aside and do something as a community. I don’t like saying things like this much but Railway 200 is for a good cause. The charities that need the support and a show of appreciation to the event owners and organisers of both Railway 200 and TGG Teams, not forgetting all the work that TOCs have done to make the event what it is. Even a Eurostar Power set is due there now. I’ve done these to bring attention back to charitable causes. That’s going right back to basic in that giving something back is what I wanted to do. And enjoy the sensation of being at TGG because I can’t go like many other people. So why not replicate on TSW5. Simply Aim yet need a team to do that. I guess you could say anyone that helped me in the past or does in the future is helping me clear my quilt of not being strong enough in the past to support charities directly or with money. Yet at the same time I’m here and we’re all here because we share a common interest. Trains. So as Rail fans could we not contribute based on that more than assisting me with clearing any quilt of not giving back to society. Can we as a DTL community and as rail fans give something back.
