The new E94 Loco has some strange raildriver behavior (throttle way up is not the same as down?), half of the expert pack ist still missing raildriver support, same for the new colored 101. Please give TSG a raildriver unit for testing purposes, and please assure at DTG site that raildriver support is also the bare minimum for third party developers! "Expert" without proper input device is silly...
I can't speak to the E94, but regarding the BR101 Expert missing Raildriver support that is still something I plan to implement, but it's been pushed back by more pressing bug fixes. Now that the DLC is quite "mature"/stable I should be able to focus on the Raildriver. I can't say when exactly this support will be available, other than that I have not forgotten about the Raildriver
cwf.green thank you for your quick and honest response! Please pay attention to the AFB lever (instead of direct brake, which is useless during major parts of the time). And sorry for my little rant, but having the expert dlc for such a long time without being able to use it (with raildriver input, of course!) is frustrating.
Thank you for this response. I was looking online trying to figure out why my custom controller wasn't working with the RailDriver and Joystick Interface software, and now I see it's because the BR 101 Expert variants don't have RailDriver support. It's a bit confusing since the more modern version with the digital display works, but the others don't. This setup is the only way I play, so I was starting to regret spending the money on something I couldn't actually use. I'm really glad you shared this. Again, thanks!
