Welcome to the Unofficial Screenshot Competition! This is a fun and friendly alternative to the official Screenshot Competition run by DTG. Here you can share your weekly themed TSC screenshots using any 3rd party / post shot editing etc. creations which are not allowed in the official competition. Rules: TSC only shots allowed. Screenshot should be in some way (can be very tenuous) linked to the theme. Otherwise anything goes. You can enter up to 3 screenshots, posted as separate posts. You can delete and replace if you wish. 3rd party content / Re-shades / Reskins etc. are welcomed but are not mandatory. Previous week's winner to decide winner (can't enter themselves). The winner chooses the new theme for next week (and becomes the new judge). The Judge of the week's decision is final. We strongly discourage any negative comment or criticism of another entry by a fellow contributor. This is a light hearted & fun contest! This is a major "we are all friendly" thread and we hope it will always remain so. Please keep chat to an absolute minimum. Entries will close at 10PM GMT on Saturday, June 28th 2025 and will be judged by me - Craigie-C In the event of this week's winner not responding by 10PM GMT on Sunday, June 29th 2025, a new thread will be created using the results of this week's poll. The theme for this week is: "The Colour Green" Feel free to interpret the theme however you wish. Good luck to you all.
As the sun gently sets in the early evening, 6024 'King Edward I' navigates beneath Conwy Castle with the return working of 'The Christmas Irish Mail' to Milton Keynes. 6024 would work as far as Crewe, where recently acquired 90026 would take over.
The rather incongruous sight of a SR 'Schools' under the wires at Carlisle. She's about to make a spectacular assault of Ais Gill, and then on to Hellifield, Blackburn and Preston.
45231 (not very green) and 60019 (very green) storm up the stiff incline outside of Torquay station in dramatic fashion working 'The Paignton Winter Warmer' tour out of, unsurprisingly, Paignton.
D6915, reverted to (roughly) original condition splutters into life on a cold and misty February morning, ready to work the 09:15 service train to Radstock.
Hi all, firstly a massive thanks for your contributions, I have really enjoyed scrolling through them. I have decided to award the podium places as follows:- In 3rd place burnsys_bashes with this wonderful capture of a Clag Monster on a cold morning start up. I award 2nd place to Blazin for this terrific moody green machine in the fog snap, great composition and framing. I award this week's golden Master Key to Limeyfox for this gorgeous shot of a Southern Rail "Schools Class" On a day out up North. To me, the framing of the green loco coupled with the only green signal when all around screams red just nailed it for me. Well done a worthy winner. Over to you Limeyfox to take us forward to Week 26
Thank you for 2nd place and congratulations to the other winners! Looks like I was a bit too slow getting around to writing my descriptions!
Thank you for the win! And congratulations to the others. I'll set up next week's competition shortly.
