Hello everyone I wanna start a steam loco route. I have the Scotsmen but bored with that one now. What has more playerbilty Liverpool - crewe, peak forest or Cornwall local add on. Thanks

Peak forest is a nicely done route but the timetable is dead. Comes with a 4f.

Liverpool to Crewe is also done well but again the timetable is dead. You get the jubilee and 8f with this route.

West Cornwall isn't the best of routes unless you are on pc and can add a few enhancement mods. Although this is probably the one I would go for. Saying that though.... I'm unsure if you require Liverpool to Crewe for the jubilee but it is and extra add on. I'm certain it doesn't come with the standard west Cornwall route.

Im on xbox x so no mods installed read somewhere that Liverpool crewe was a bit boring because its almost just a straight line. Don't know how true that is tho.

Neither route is really going to challenge how you handle steam locos due to how they are done.
SOS is slightly busier with a few fast stretches (Crewe to Weaver Jn) where you should be able to get up to and over 80 MPH. Although there are stretches in the countryside, it has a very urban and industrial feel about it.
Peak Forest is very much a scenic run with of course three steam locos. However the 4F is pitifully under utilised with just shunting or banking duties in the timetable and physics plus sound are not the best.

Personally I would say go with SoS first then PfR. Neither are bad routes, well PFR should have gone to Derby as discussed at the time, just be aware that the whole steam thing in TSW is a bit gimmicky.

End of the day just buy which one you want, must be honest could never see the point of asking random peeps on the internet, because you are only going to buy the one you want anyway, and this whole thread and the one's like it will be pointless and moot littering the forum.......

Liverpool to Crewe has a couple of good scenarios. And services in service mode. I wouldn't say it's boring in that aspect.
There are some interesting runs, I just found the timetable a bit of a letdown as it doesn't represent the real thing. Doesn't even come close.
