Game Update Train Sim World 5 - Game Update (30th June 2025)

Good afternoon everyone,

Today we have a small update coming to Train Sim World 5, with a range of fixes for various add-ons, including WCML South, Class 390, MBTA Commuter and more!

This patch also contains the second half of our recent memory updates, bringing back some missing layered content across particular routes.

Full Changelog

WCML South

Class 350

• Fixed an issue causing the brakes not to release correctly when swapping cabs.

Class 390

• Fixed an issue causing the objective to move on during the ‘Refreshing Refurb’ scenario.

DB BR 218

• Updated the incorrect exterior decals for the 1980s epoche.
• Fixed an issue with era-inappropriate decals for the Blue/Beige livery.

MBTA Commuter

HSP46

• Updated traction interlock control text so it should now appear in the correct position.
• Updated the ‘step down’ text so it now appears in the correct position.
• Fixed an issue causing the ceiling lights to animate incorrectly.
• Fixed an issue where the jump seat would be interactable when occupied.

CTC-5 Cab

• Fixed the door shortcut so it should now operate as expected.

Antelope Valley

• Added passenger coach substitutions into the timetable formations so that Bombardiers now appear on AVL services.

Expert DB BR 101

• Fixed an issue with the door control function when hauling the ÖBB IC and Flixtrain coaching stock.
• Improved save game compatibility for the European Integrated Radio Enhanced Network (EIRENE).

• Fixed an issue on the BR 185 whereby the Green 'T' door symbol did not indicate that the doors were open.

Hi folks,

Following reports from PS5 players who didn't have some of the updates, we've just re-pushed updates for WCML South, BR 218 and Expert 101 to bring them in line with other platforms.

We hope to update Dresden Chemnitz, Antelope Valley Line, and MBTA Commuter later today
