July Roadmap Predictions

based on June roadmap (tsw5) and July 2024 roadmap (tsw4) my predictions are as follows:

new content labeled as "new content - to be announced" in TBC section (since roadmap no longer has a 4-6 months section) to be announced in dovetail direct: summer 2025 event

MBTA Providence HSP46 Add-On, BR 194 & E94 Railtour Pack, and Manchester Airport Commuter removed from the 0-3 months section (obviously since they've already been released)

Cargo Line Vol 5 - Nuclear remains in 0-3 months section

SantaFe Gameplay Pack moves from TBC section to 0-3 months section (this is more a wish than a probability)

maybe great western express remaster and tfw class 142 pacer (since now just trains is about to release Class 86) both in 0-3 months section too

maybe tadami line will be released sometime during tsw6 existence and maybe all aboard studios UK route will finally be revealed

 

Most of all, I am looking forward to this

 

Blackpool Branches gameplay pack, with weekday timetable matching the timetable from Preston - Carlisle.

 

Could you develop?

 

I think it’s inevitable that we will get the teaser for dovetail direct today with the roadmap. I also have a sneaking suspicion it might be earlier than last year and TSW6 will be playable at the greatest gathering. I’ll take my tin foil hat and see myself out…

 

What time does it release

 

Nothing New on the Roadmap, we all know TSW6 is on the way.

Lots of "waffle" to pad the roadmap out.

Manchester Airport Commuter out... great feedback albeit after DTG released old builds with bugs.

1: Cargo Line Nuclear no change - Skyhook had challenges with the Class 20. August Release?
2: JT Class 82 + Carriages release date 15th July

GWE Remaster clearly now coming during TSW6. What's taking so long ??

JT Cardiff 142 is still a while off, unlikely to move into 0-3 months.

 

Surely the 158 Fife Circle timetable gets a mention

 

Nothing will change, as the post above says; it will probably be this:
0-3 months:
Class 86/2 (which will be released on the 15th)
Expert 101 Kassel Gameplay Pack (no change or surely a date)
Cargo Line Vol.5 (some photos)
Tfw Pacer (more infos certainly)

No date:
GWE Remaster (maybe more info)
HST Farewall Pack (will probably come out a little after GWE Remaster)
The unannounced route of All Aboard Studios will be revealed
DB BR 420 (no change)
Tadami Line (no change)
Santa Fe , even I doubt if it remains unchanged or it will go in the 0-3 months
LO Extension Richmond (no change)

+ Maybe an addition of one or two DLCs so that it is not a copy and paste of last month with just changes on the release months of certain DLCs

 

I'm expecting the addition of a load of TBC routes / locos that'll be revealed at Direct next month. Possible including a new JT route and ATS loco?

 

Will be very disappointed - although, sadly, not surprised if the Fife Circle 158 timetable doesn't finally get a long overdue and much needed release date.

 

I've literally got Fife sat there waiting for this! It's been in the QA queue for months. Surely must be due a release ...

Exactly, just like they did last year. A couple of placeholders for dovetail direct that will turn out to be the routes of TSW 6 (what a surprise!)

 

This close to the inevitable release of TSW6, It'll be a word salad to pad out the article with no new information.

 

Hopefully soon but could take up to 4pm at the latest I think, I don’t remember one taking longer than that

 

its normally 4 pm uk time but it was at 2pm last month iirc? no complaints if it comes earlier today…

 

Perhaps they've been holding stuff like 158 fife timetable to do a 'springtime sprint' style release month like in March. Get a few of the last dlc out with a bit of fanfare to prep for the announcement of tsw6 next month.

Then again they probably have a stretched QA team at the moment since testing the next installment will be taking up a bunch of time, especially after the leaks last year.

I feel GWE remaster has to be announced for release pretty soon, if its left any longer it will be backed up into tsw6 and that will probably come with a substantial delay from QA for the new title.

I feel like any major performance and stability improvements are going to be a core feature of tsw6, but we might see some timetable updates on this roadmap as a tease of incoming improvements that will release post tsw6. (Wishful thinking I know)

 

Hope the new supposed crewe route is revealed

 

As JD is present on the stream I wonder if there will be no dovetail direct this year, and we will get the details of what ever package is coming with three new routes

My prediction- even more bare than last months but I guess that’s to be expected with DD coming next month. The core UK route has got to be something special to live up to the pre announcement hype that we’ll be fed. Hoping for a new steam loco or two but I give that about a 10% chance of happening

 

Same, if they are actually doing steam again then I wouldn’t mind buying this new version as much as I see it as pointless to release the same game each year

Hey I'm not doing too badly except for TSW6 being released and Pacer and Cargo Line remaining unchanged, I was right

It remains to be seen if AAS's route will be revealed even though I feel it will be announced in August

 

the only item i wanted to be right about was the santa fe gameplay pack but as i put it "that's more a wish than a probability"
