Hi, tried to find the keyboard keys for the drivers brake. CR 47 and CR45 BTW. Not found in the manual; aren't there any? Found the [ and ] for the straight brake .... thnx J BTW some appliation or tool for DirectX joystick USB controllers etc would do a lot better.
don't work, checked keyboard settings, there set OK .... new one; got stopped on route, engine failure, CR45, can't move throttle lever and reverser, airbrake set to passenger. masterkey on ...
yep, dunno what went wrong ..... picked up from last save,but i found the drivers brake, press keyboard backspace to activate emergency brake, ad then ; and ' control it. Now i want to get that speed blob arrow out of the middle of the HUD, blocks views of red lights (and suicidal pedestrians) on the route. Can you default that upwards on the PC screen?
Stuck waiting for a red light, engine running, press TAB: call the signaler - denied, no route available ... is that normal?
Well actually i got bored, going to quit ... got some railroad blues: Over 20 minutes being stuck, read a bit in the manual, done some emailing, but still: two trains waiting, also on the map both have red lights. ADDED: Guess we need a God-mode. And some sort of sports mode? in real life train-plain-car plane crashes are a bad thing, but in IL2 Sturmovik you can get two opposing enemy trains to shoot at one another. Oil tank wagons makeup for a huge fiery show when they blow ..... 50 years ago my dad had a large Marklin (analoge) train set; we made is possible to run 6 trains at the same time due rail detectors controlling signals and switches. Learned some soldering electronic skils thanks to that. The sport part i made later, with a smaller circuit in the middle of it all with overhead cabling. Driving a single electric lock manually switching tracks across the automated circus, that got sort of boring after it all worked. ...
Sorry Anthony, I'm getting a little fed up with filling in bug reports, and get no reactions as usualy. Did that a lot with IL*2 Sturmovik, with Steinberg audio software, and rarely got ANY reaction, apart from some noreply email address ... Mostly you'll only get replies via forum experts like you, thanks again. PS i strongly feel that a lot of software sellers use their paying customers for beta testing, and are ashamed admitting that LoL. Sometimes they really get caught, like Boeing with theiir Max 777 ... ADDED Just did a banking job with that DB BR 146.2 oil train, NO BUGS, and took me 3 rounds chasing up the hill, and stopping in time for a red light there all of a surprise, no yellow lights like on the Pennine route. . 3 brake systems applied at the right time gets you a safe stop, a fun ride, stay awake ... worth the game. Freight: no waiting for them zombies is also a pre. The Banking loc driver (lady) pops up in your cab all of a sudden, that ain't no bug id say.
