This is something we are lacking in tsw 5 that being dead stock. I would love to have a similar route to Doncaster works form train sim classic. okay onto what should be a part of a route like this, Some new shunter like class 03 now for dead stock Class 03 Class 08 Class 20 Class 25/ 26 Class 31 Class 40 Class 45 Class 47 Class 55 Class 101 And mk 1 and mk2 coaches all of these would be more broken up versions of the classes like after accidents and pre scarping but all will be able to still be moved around and pushed into sidings, I also think all the dead stock should be added to formation designer. alright here’s some images from the route taken from DC 4260 productions video on Doncaster works. The cost should be in the 7 to 15 pounds range going off if it’s just the scarpyard and a bit extra. it would also be nice to get modern versions of scarpyards and the older steam versions as well, but I just thought it would be best start with the br era
Doncaster is already in game as its a relatively new route its unlikely to get any kind of update or remaster and there are definitelyroutes much more in need of a remaster than this, although there are HSTs and the occasional 323 in the yard. Also your not supposed to bump your own threads on the fourum it should only be doen if there is an update
First off this has nothing to do with modern Doncaster, this is for the br era which matches the train simulator classic version with dead stock and the class 03 shutter also this is just a idea for a scarp yard themed route not just Doncaster, I think we need a route with heavy Shutting and it would also just us much needed stock even if it’s the dead version. I thought it would be more fitting to bump instead of making a whole new post which would clog up even more
Oh fair enough so more of a just trains job? There could be more opportunities for this as we have the railtour pack for the ecml that could also be encorporated into this in its actual use era, I don't play train sim classic so I didn't understand when u referred to it. And as for static stock and things to see on routes, I completely agree it seems to be quite lacking (Could posibly be due to performance)
yep basically just a small just trains route slightly bigger than holiday express with a the br class 03 and with the dead stock they can remodel the current br trains and give them a much needed upgrade like the class 40/45 Plus if they add a dead class 55 or other trains we don’t have they will have a easier time adding drivable versions to the game if they don’t already include them in this
Let me guess you were trying to backdate the current East Coast main line to the '80s where this is happening particularly the section around Doncaster remember late 1980s electric operation
