White Screen Issue When Launching Train Sim World

Hi everyone,

Iam encountering a problem with Train Sim World where the game loads to a completely white screen, upon launching. I can hear the background music, but the screen remains white, and Iam unable to proceed further. This started happening after a recent update or reinstalling the game.

I have tried verifying the game files, updating my GPU drivers, and even reinstalling the game, but the issue persists. Iam playing on platform,PC/Steam with a basic system detail, NVIDIA GTX 1660.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have just encountered the same problem normally for me it's a blue screen but now white. If it carries on i will scrap the game altogether. The problems I am getting with tsw5 is beyond a joke. God help us if tsw6 turns out full of bugs and glitches.

 

No my screen doesn't look like that as the screen you are showing me is the pc version, I only play on ps5 and no i haven't used unofficial mods. But I won't be having any more problems with TSW5 as I have deleted all the train sim off my ps5. I will never put it back on my ps5 not after all the problems I have had with it. When I reloaded tsw5 it also reloaded tsw4 I finished up with a download of 158 items when it should have been just 78 items. I won't be buying tsw6 when it comes out I shall stay clear of it.

 

After all I said about me not going to play train sim world 5 again that I miss it that much that this is making my concentration suffer. If I am playing one of my war games I just can't concentrate on the game. So it looks like I will just put tsw5 routes in and not tsw4 or tsw3, and see if that helps. I keep thinking that it's a tsw4 route that is causing me problems with either a white screen or the blue screen. I will get back to you later if the problem is still there.

 

I have been seeing the white screen, but it lasts only a few seconds and loading then continues, so not a problem - total loading time the same.

 

I deleted tsw5 off my ps5 as it had got tsw4 on it as well. So when I reloaded tsw5 I made sure that no tsw4 was loading as well. So all my routes now are tsw5 and up to now there is no white or blue screen. I know that I have lost some routes but it's not the end of the world and I can live with that.

 

But it can't be my ps5 as it's only 3 weeks old, I bought it to replace the one I did have that decided to fly out of my study room window and land in paddling pool. I think my console was getting stressed out because of the many bugs and faults that was in the game. But all the train routes are now ps5, there isn't any ps4 routes on my hard drive. But will this be the end of it and the routes run smooth and we don't see any white or blue screens. Here's hoping?
