Apparently the driver just dosed off and didn't realise/didn't break in time. How he managed that I do not know. Just shows was fatigue can do to you I guess

Per the Strasburg Railroad, US railroad/steam preservationist Ross Rowland has passed away today at 85. He help with things like the American Freedom Train in '75 and '76 as well as a handful of Steam restorations and excursions thru out his life.
My latest one from The reworked LIRR Mineola from the footbridge. Hint it's the M9 we play in game. This one carried my brother from Penn to Carle Place even though he's supposed to get off here. What he did Today is route hop NEC Trenton-Boston to The LIRR route the reworked one.

Just something I've had on my mind for a little while now. Could we please get a subforum for sharing the photos/news/other real world stuff? It'd be a lot more clear and manageable if everyone would be able to create a new thread there for their train/museum trip reports etc. This single mega thread is becoming very heavy and cumbersome, taking a long time to load plus it's very difficult to find a specific photo or message if one would like to do so.
Here you can see an SBB shunting locomotive pulling a freight train through the city of Zurich. I also drive shunting locomotives like this, but at the Limmattal marshalling yard.
