I've searched all over and haven't been able to find anybody talking about this, so not sure if this is an issue or I'm just missing something. On every one of these timetable routes taking a train from LA Union to the CMF yard, I come up less than 50 AP short of the platinum threshold. I keep it under the speed limit the whole time, have the alerter on from the very beginning, and hit all the stop marks as dead on as I possibly can. Am I missing something that gives more points, or do you have to find a section of track to go back and forth on to get an extra time or two of traveling under the speed limit points?

I'm new to the game, really enjoying it, but the completionism in me is really bugged by these, particularly when it's so close. I understand there are lots of bugs and things like this that sometimes don't get addressed in the game, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing before assigning the blame there.

You are not missing anything its because you dont drive a long enough distance to earn the extra AP needed. So most you can is gold. Unless you have enough space go forwards and backwards to earn few times to eaen the extra AP.

I noticed the same problem when going through the cargo schedule for SD-40. Some things are done for platinum, and some, despite all the completed tasks and regularly receiving 65 points for the distance still don't allow me to get the required amount of points for the platinum medal. At first I was upset, but then I just didn't pay attention to it.
