Another couple of additions to Team NYMR. The NYMR Breakdown train was stabled up at Grosmont. Obviously there is no Breakdown crane available, but the support coach and a support van can be modelled. Here they are:

This van is a representation of the Van used for the Breakdown train, which has no identification numbers. I have named it for use on the Creator's Club: Team NYMR Breakdown Van Red

A quick visit to Formation Editor and here is a stock transfer train from NYMR to A.N.Other heritage railway, stabled in the carriage sidings at Middlesbrough

Team Mid-Hants is next on the Collections list (I still have to complete the 2-Car Class 101 for NYMR and KWVR) and first to be added to the Creator's Club are 08032 and D8059.
08032 is the same loco as my Foster Yeoman No. 33, but since preservation has reacquired its TOPS number, but retains its Yeoman markings.

D8059 is preserved currently in BR Green livery with small yellow panels. This number has been previously uploaded as a pair, and is now available as a single loco.

With Team Mid-Hants now complete, a couple of stragglers from Team NYMR and Team KWVR.

First is 2-car Class 101 DMU 101680 'Daisy' in Green livery from Team NYMR. The Green is not quite BR Green.

Team WSR (West Somerset Railway) is next up. Seems an obvious one as the route itself is available on TSW. However, repaints are not in abundance, I've only been able to do 4: Class 09 shunter, based on the 08; Western D1010; Class 47 D1661 in BR Green and Class 115 DMU, based on the Class 101. Usual caveats regarding compromises.

We move on to the next collection - Team Wensleydale. The railway does not have many mainline locos and the Class 14s are obviously not in game and the Class 33 is unavailable for relivery. However, there is a Class 37 and a Class 47 and quite a few Class 142 DMUs!

First up is 37250 in its EWS livery. (Apologies for no EWS '3 Beasties' emblem. I hope to add it later):

Yes, I noticed that. I presume it's there after the WSR update. I screenshot my stuff in Scenario Planner. There seems to be a few set pieces with train staff and also this 4F!

Team Wensleydale continues with their Class 142 DMUs. When I started this thread, 79 years ago (!), I never expected to be adding Class 142 and the like to a heritage-themed collection. But such is life.
The Wensleydale Railway has at least 4 Class 142s and I have done these 4. My understanding is that they are all currently in their as-withdrawn liveries (Northern Rail), but their website informs that 2 of them will be receiving new liveries, or rather, old liveries. So, 142018 will receive its Chocolate & Cream livery from its 'Skipper' days in the South West and 142041 will regain a variation of Regional Railways North Western Purple & Blue. To that end, I have done those 2 units in their new colours, and the others in Northern Rail without markings.

Perhaps we should have a "What If?" Peak Forest livery?
(Perfect for if someone did some mods to update what could be done with scenarios on that route ;) )

OK, what were you thinking? Steam era; diesel era? Modern or retro?

P.S. I'm really looking forward to a certain person doing their mods on Peak Forest!

Regarding the inclusion of a random 4F on the WSR, here is a pic
    20250703095739_1.jpg

Notice the lack of any numbers or emblems and the lack of smoke! And it is silent in game - no loco sound.

Was looking at some pics from the recent KWVR Diesel gala and came across another loco that I can model - a 4F stored in the Goods shed at Oxenholme - 43924 in BR Black livery. This has just been uploaded to the CC. The BR emblem is really small on this loco.

It's now the time for Team Mid-Norfolk Railway. No 08s on this railway (03s are in use though), but 47s and Class 101s as well as a Class 142.

47367 'Kenny Cockbird' in BR Blue. One nameplate is more faded than the other!

Ah the good old Union Jack and the County series. Fond memories of watching these in my trainspotting days at Ipswich and on the GEML. :)

Stratford and Liv St were always special to me as I rarely got to them. The locos were elusive and with the extra livery embellishments, usually exotic! Always good to see an SF loco off the beaten track.

47596, or as it is now, D1933 in 2-tone Green with full Yellow ends and Black headcodes. I really love how the 2-tone Green blends in to the scenery - no wonder BR insisted on yellow panels and then full yellow ends!

So the JT Class 86 has arrived and quickly been put to the paintbrush. As usual, I've looked to the past, making use of my personal recollections and photographs to present variations on the theme>

86008 in BR Blue. The 86/0 were general purpose locos for Passenger and Freight and were basically standard locos with TOPS numbers.
    20250717115604_1.jpg
    20250717115643_1.jpg

86/3. Fitted with modified wheels. 86318. The MW equipment is not of the correct type, but compromises have had to be made.

For those of you with sensitive natures please look away now. The following are 'representations' of other BR Classes based on the JT Class 86. They are not completely accurate, dare I say. Even - some liberties have had to be taken and compromises were made. However, numerical gaps have been filled.
That said, I just couldn't bring myself to do Class 84!

So, Class 85. 85030 received a vinyl nameplate 'Fell Runner' in the early 1980s and is seen here about 1984.

    20250719130749_1.jpg
    20250719130808_1.jpg

Class 83. 83015 was one of the last of this small class in service, lasting in service until Feb 1989. Notice the angled yellow ends.

Class 83 is next for a few variations. A couple of months ago I did a 'What-if' of 87036 as a Train Heating unit. Here is the real Train Heating unit as used by BR - 83009 with its giant OHLE label!

A break in the current proceedings for a special milestone. 83009 was my 999th upload to Creator's Club. That includes liveries, formations and Scenarios. So, upload 1000 had to be a little special.
There were lots of things I could have done, but I chose a numerical solution - D1000. I have previously uploaded D1000 in its Desert Sand livery, and so I have chosen to represent D1000 in its unique BR Maroon livery - without any yellow embellishments but with its cast aluminium BR Crest.
Usual caveats regarding the nameplates on these Westerns.

At some point in the near future, I will reach upload 1000 in my liveries. What shall I do for that?

Maybe have a special liveried locomotive or wagon set of your choice?

First of all, well done on achieving that milestone! It is a testament to your skill and quality when making these liveries. I guarantee that many people look up to you as an inspiration to make liveries in general. So well done on achieving 1000 uploads on CC :).

Your 1,000th livery should be on a loco that is special to you, or holds a place in your heart (and of course is in TSW), as you want it to stand out in comparison to the rest of your liveries. Make it your own Dave :).

Thanks for the comments and suggestions guys. I'll have to think very carefully if I want something 'of my own', as I've tended to livery them early. If only we had a Deltic in game between now and whenever (956 liveries and counting) But there is a loco that might be the 'One'...
