Gameplay Discussion Title: Ukrainian Language In Train Sim World 5 — It’s Important! / Українська Мова В Trai

Hello, Dovetail Games team and fellow players!

I am writing on behalf of the Ukrainian community with a request to add Ukrainian language support to Train Sim World 5.

Amid the full-scale war unleashed by so-called russia against Ukraine, it is especially important for us to be able to use our native language — not only in everyday life but also in the virtual world.

Supporting the Ukrainian language means:

a sign of respect to millions of players from Ukraine;

an important gesture of solidarity during this time of struggle;

an investment in expanding the game’s audience in Eastern Europe.

We appreciate the support already shown — especially the “Love to Ukraine” livery. However, we ask you to go further: please add a Ukrainian interface to the game.

If a full localization is not possible yet — please allow fan translations, open access to localization files, or provide an official translation editor.

Я звертаюся від імені української спільноти з проханням **додати українську мову до гри Train Sim World 5**.

В умовах повномасштабної війни, яку розв’язала так звана росія проти України, нам особливо важливо мати можливість **користуватися рідною мовою** — не лише в повсякденному житті, а й у віртуальному середовищі.

Підтримка української мови — це:

* знак поваги до мільйонів гравців з України;
* важливий жест солідарності у часи боротьби;
* інвестиція в розширення аудиторії гри в Східній Європі.

Ми дякуємо за вже зроблені кроки підтримки — зокрема, за ліврею «Love to Ukraine». Але просимо йти далі: **додайте український інтерфейс до гри.**

Якщо повноцінна локалізація поки неможлива — дайте змогу створювати фанатські переклади, відкрийте доступ до локалізаційних файлів або надайте офіційний редактор перекладів.

Call me sceptical, but I'm going to call bullcrap on this. Millions of players in the country, nah that ain't happening. My Spidey senses think this is more a political angle than localisation request, everything is phrased more like a politician making a speech than just some random soul wanting their native language in game........
