Steam Driver Character?

I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct part of the TSW forum to be asking this question....

Remember back in early TSW we were able to customise our driver character? - I was wondering if this is still doable?

I had a look around on the menus, profile & settings in game, but couldn't find it.

Would love to add a bit of customisation to my driver!

Also, whilst on the topic, if you're looking for future suggestions for the driver, can we get third person view when on foot & the ability to change our outfits to match us better?

Unfortunately you cannot customize your driver at all. You simply select a driver and you're stuck with them forever. No accessories, no clothing, and not even an option to change your driver to a different one.

 

Makes sense when we can't see them except in the menus anyway.

 

Do you never use external cams?

 

You can also see them in exterior camera.

 

No, I'm mostly in the train itself.

But if I do, it's usually to look at other stuff, or watch my train fly past. In fact, I don't even really know what my driver looks like.

But really, customising your driver, to me, is really only beneficial if we get a third person view when walking.

 

Or if we get multiplayer, and the train crew need to see each other.
