Valenta HST with suspension and AP sounds. Have it in all BR / InterCity liveries, taking a leaf out of JT’s book with weathering, nameplates etc.. It can layer onto a few current routes, but could appear as a ‘rail tour’ variation for modern ones.

An LRC set in VIA Rail livery.

Would go good with say Toronto to London or Montreal to Ottawa route.

Godzilla, a.k.a. the EMD DDA40X, shown here dwarfing two SD40-2s and a C30-7.

I'd love to see the JNR 115-series in game!
An EMU, sure, but in service since 1968, and...get this...most importantly, not single handled! In fact, observing JR West drivers, I'm pretty sure it has manually lapped brakes.

It's a very analog set of rolling stock. Lots of metal parts and components, and not a lot of plastic. Not a glorified streetcar/super-tram; and feels, sounds, and runs like a train.

Some proper GWR locomotives, I mean the real GWR rather than the modern day tribute company.

No specific classes, just give me some Western steam. 1950’s Riviera Line for TSW would be so awesome if done properly

Edit: If GWR steam is too much of an ask for DTG then I’d take a Riviera Line set in the BR Western Region era with primary focus on Diesel Hydraulics, we have the Western, we just need the other hydraulics!

    [IMG][IMG]

It’ll be truly disappointing if DTG take the boring route and do Riviera Line in modern day where there is no genuine Western stock running on it.

Don’t know whether it’s true but I read on George’s (the Stourbridge Jn station cat) Facebook feed that one of the Class 139’s might be getting named after him.

Anyhow we shouldn’t jest, the Stourbridge Town branch could yet be Rivet’s finest hour, as the keynote UK route for the TSW6 bundle.

I'll second this. The Type 2 Hydraulic might be a push but there's still Hymeks & BR Warships running and you could make an NBL Class 43 Warship by using the BR version but having it break more frequently.

Well, someone can have dreams, right?

    - E.656 FS "Caiman" DC electric articulated loco :love:
    upload_2025-7-30_16-25-22.jpeg
As it appears today, fully restored and used on railtours/events.

The "queen" of Italian locos, here in a 1998 shot, towing some UIC-Xs.

Classic "caiman style" acceleration (gangway POV), one of the nicest and pure DC sounds Imo!!

About those ones who always say "Oh, electric locos don't make any noise!"... Listen to this kids :D

Could clearly see it on an Italian mainline, a few years ago (mid 80s-2010s)!

I would be delighted if there were to be a BLS route one day.
These vehicles would also be suitable for this.

    BLS Re 420
    [IMG]

    BLS Re 465
    [IMG]

    BLS Re 475 Vectron
    [IMG]

    BLS RABe 528 MIKA
    [IMG]

BLS RABe 515 double-decker train ‘MUTZ’
    [IMG]

If I didn't have problems working with the TSW Editor, I would build an SBB or BLS route myself. But unfortunately, I don't understand the TSW Editor at all.

I agree about the P42 and I would add the SC44 Charger.

I also have a fondness for the E and F series.

In the UK any 1st generation DMU's plus the 124, 50 and 55.

For me a Valenta HST a Class 50 and a Class 33 in BR Blue.

Then hopefully we could get Exeter to Plymouth in the 80’s and I can relive my teenage / college years.

    Locomotive: Vectron Dual Mode
This is mainly so I can play on Non-Electrified routes, or backing into the Elverlingsen Coal Power Station at Ruhr Sieg Nord.

    DMU: None

    EMU: ICE 4 (BR412)
Personally got to see the cab of this train, and absolutely fell in love with it. It's probably able to be layered on quite a few already existing routes.

Point of note. The type 2 pictued is a re engined Class 29 (originally Class 21) diesel electric. I believe you meant to include the Class 22 diesel hydraulic.

A collection of Southern Region MK1 EMUs... The thing with SR MK1 EMUs is you couldn't just produce one, as there were many variants operating together at one time.

So for me EPBs, CEPs, CIG, VEPs for a baseline, and additional HAP, TC stock, MLVs, REP, stock if we were lucky. Ideally with a time appropriate route such as Charing Cross to Hastings set in 1990, or the Portsmouth Direct Line in it entirety set in 1990 too.

Although if we could 'push the boat' a bit, with the South Eastern route, maybe set it in 1994/1995 when Class 465s were replacing EPBs so we could maybe get a new subclass of Class 465/0s and 465/1s in original specification and with original traction equipment.
