Steam Bpmmbdzf 286.1 Expert Speedometer Stops Working Sometimes On Any Map / Timetable.

Like title says, and its very annoying especially if i want to immerse myself and disable most of the hud functions / features.
Sometimes its happening after i apply direct brake or i stop at some station,then it would be stuck at zero km/h no matter what i do.

 

This is not a bug. You can see the "Zs aus" light is on - this means your train line power (the electricity supply from the loco to the coaches) is turned off, so the battery on the cab car is not getting charged, and its systems will, one after the other, stop working. The speedometer is just the first to go.

 

I can confirm this! If you did not activate the "zugsammelschiene" you get this result.

 

If you're sure about that perhaps better to notify DTG Harry as well given the possibly raised ticket about this.

That aside, very weird behaviour of the real life cab car. Wonder why ever would a speedometer need power to operate. And remaining without it sounds pretty dangerous...well, at the very least it'll alert the driver pretty quickly of the issue that way =p
