I am putting the suggestion down to gain a MALLARD DLC
We have the Scotsmen (Love it) but we can't forget about its rival that beat its speed !

but they differ in their historical significance and design. The Flying Scotsman is famous for being the first locomotive to reach an authenticated 100 mph. Mallard, on the other hand, holds the world speed record for steam locomotives at 126 mph

 

Hate to break it to you, but steam development is on an indefinite hold. Not happening anytime soon.

 

Mallard hasn't run for the past 40 years anyway. Which pretty much rules it's existence out.

 

Not unless they did a back-dated route that featured it, but as mentioned, steam is no longer being developed for tsw anyway

 

As stated steam is dead in TSW unless the silly little blue thing.

And if it does ever come back we need some smaller mixed traffic or tank locos, not another elite express passenger loco with limited usage.

 

Still no third party willing to develop for them, huh? I consider this a missed opportunity.

 

The only third parties doing UK steam either appear to be uninterested in TSW or have clearly stated they’re not touching it until DTG buff the steam implementation.
