I don't agree, but sure. Anyway its pretty clear what he was trying to do by saying it was him who reported it, didn't have to do that. Could have just reported it and moved on silently if they actually wanted to keep the peace in the thread. For me personally, that just seems more argumentative than anything.

So, anyway...!

When are you going to get rivet to fix the running sounds on Fife circle? I can't speak for all platforms as I only play on series x now but since the first patch they've been completely broken.

To replicate: accelerate up to a decent speed, put the engine into idle and the only thing you can hear is the engine idling. No wheels over rail, no point sounds, nothing.

It sounded fine at launch, rivet released a patch to fix scenery or something which somehow also did this and as a result the class 170 sounds nothing like a train, it just sounds like a diesel engine hovering over the tracks.

When is this going to be fixed?

 

Quite bold to attempt to take the moral high ground when your first comment in the thread features a completely off topic rant about 'rage bait culture'.

It's seems short sighted to believe it isn't going to read as a marginalisation of the criticism on here.

I agree. I think we peaked around 3 or 4, but I’m going to be positive and hope that 6 is better than 5. I’ve still enjoyed this iteration but it’s definitely not as good as past versions. On the flip side, I think 5 has brought some of the best addons in Zwolle-Groningen, Frankfurt-Fulda, Cardiff (I certainly enjoy playing it), and the north London line (stunning route, especially given it’s a one man job (I know there are errors, but the detail is wonderful in so many places)).
Cheers to the next one being an improvement still.

 

Not sure I agree here. Having played since about 2021 I feel like the game is in close to its worst state ever as far as bugs that ruin enjoyment of the game that just seem to never get addressed as it is full steam ahead with even more broken content. The glaring one for me is the memory issues and blurring textures across basically all platforms and any route thats remotely busy.

 

Don’t worry TSW6 will magically fix all on-going technical issues…

In the meantime, while DTG are pumping out £13 reskin and timetable packs, I’m looking forward to later when I can download the Saxlingham UK map for Farming Sim 25. The YT preview clips show the author has achieved little short of artistic genius apparently putting over 800 hours work into the map and custom 3D models. Best of all, absolutely free though I’m hoping there is a PayPal donation button so I can gift the guy a couple of beers for his efforts.

Excellent regards the FS25 map mod buddy. Perhaps bung some screenies up on ts.com. Nice one on the donation, the Ford Transcontinental i purchased for ETS2 the vendor was only charging 2 Euros for it, but i sent him 20 Euros. It was just too good a model to be paying that tiny amount.
