The LZB-Uebertragungsausfall was so much fun in the first scenario! Can this error occur in e.g. timetable mode?
That does sound a little better - thank you for your detailed report. I think I’ll wait and see for now. Work leaves me precious little free time right now and I’ve still got quite a bit of other content (and other games) to catch up on.
No problemo. Might add that i cleared my cache and rebuild my Database on my PS5 some days before, which allegedly improves performance a little.
OK, I've done three services at this point. One with the 101, 103 and IC cab each. So far, I'm very impressed! Haven't encountered any issues yet, and driving is fun! Most fun I had so far is with the 103, feels nice to let the old gal loose and use its LZB for once, since on basically any other route it's being restricted to 160 km/h max. Also, with all the layers and AI traffic, the route feels much more alive than the original timetable, especially the Kassel area. One little thing I would like to highlight is putting all the train info, like Bremshundertstel, train length and so on in the service description in the timetable. Genius move, would love to see this on more Expert timetables in the future, or even on the existing ones at some point Gonna try one of the scenarios later, let's see how that goes. But as of now, i'm quite happy! Great work
Hello. I have some issue with the mission Resuce, When I was arrived Kirchheim, I dial the guard. After he hang up the phone, it’s stuck. I check the next step will be contact signal control however I’m stuck.
I was surprised that this wasnt mentioned in the article about this gameplay pack. It is really useful, and for sure I felt more comfortable paying for it after I found out in the preview stream.
Wait, what? That’s brilliant. I’ve been waiting for this to happen. That is an amazing addation, for sure.
Moved this report to the BR 101 Expert thread [link] because I think it is a bug related to the loco and not specific of the gameplay pack.
Unfortunately interference scenario does not work for me either. It automatically crashes in Fulda when I take control of the train. Playing on Xbox X.
LZB Übertragungsausfall (LZB transmission failure) can happen when driving in the timetable if the fault simulation is enabled (the probability is dynamic based on weather) but only in the scenario do you get the dispatcher voice lines. I think Fabian touched on this in one of the streams: basically the dispatcher conversation is too specific for us to be able to make realistic voice recordings for every case where this could happen.
PS5 Pro I took the classic timetable with ICE-T and then with ICE3, always Kassel - Wurzburg ..... when arriving at Wurzburg it started to sound the end of LZB and after a while it just started to honk intermittently, it stopped me, it kept honk intermittently and there was nothing I could do about it, and I didn't move on ... after an hour's drive it reliably resets .... but I don't know what happened ... I don't remember it doing anything like that in the original timetable ...
That's the same crash I talked about earlier. Essentially it's due to the gameplay pack trying to access a function that doesn't exist on the BR 101 because (at least on Xbox, someone on PS5 said they were able to do the scenario without crashing) the DLC on your platform unfortunately isn't up to the latest version where this function was added. We informed DTG about this yesterday so hopefully there is a patch soon
is this gameplay pack using fully simulated consists in all cases or only in some? cos I managed to get Sifa Zwangsbremsung and the train recovered at like half the speed (101 + 7 coaches) btw I dig the already prepared data in the descriptions of services
It's related to the Expert Timetable.....it happened to me while driving under this timetable. I don't feel like this pack is just about the BR101 Expert, even though it's the "main" element.
PS5 Pro I noticed that the blurring is much less when the substitution is turned off. Unfortunately, all freight trains only have BR185. One observation:I didn't understand one thing, if you have to have the Ludwigsbahn map installed for BR111 AI, why is it necessary to install Dresden - Riesa for the tanks ..... while there are tanks on the Ludwigsbahn too ...... I would say that it is an unnecessary increase in the load on the game ..... I remember that Matt mentioned that these additional maps also load the game
In your original post you referred to the „classic“ timetable, which would translate into the „original“ timetable. This is where the confusion probably happened… Anyway, I could think of quite a few issues that may have caused what you were experiencing, not all of them being a bug. Impossible to say with more information, however, what should always help in such situations is turning safety systems of and on again. If this doesn’t help either, it’s probably a bug.
Sorry, I'm using a translator....I meant that it just happened to me under the expert timetable ....... The problem is probably with the announced end of the LZB and the 60km limit at the entrance to Wurzburg ....... it probably assessed that I was too fast, but why it couldn't be "reset" and continued, I don't know ...... now I tried again, but I drove 60km in advance just to be sure, and I passed it fine
Yes, there is a problem with this specific entry into Würzburg, but it has nothing to do with the timetable, this was there before as well. The LZB end is first displayed with 100kph and then suddenly changed to 60kph (something that would not happen irl). If you are too close to the braking curve it will indeed emergency stop you. But you should be able to release yourself after you have come to a stop. This may very well be a bug with the ICE-T. I have personally not experienced this, though…
I had this with the ICE-T on Frankfurt Fulda. Exactly as you describe it. So i would assume thats a problem with the ICE-T. If you think about it, we had problems regarding end of LZB sections with this Train since release.
I’m in the middle of the rescue scenario and it’s asking me to enter the train date but it’s telling me it’s wrong, when I enter 20 on the brh it registers as 30 on the display, and won’t let me move forward
I have seen this being reported before, not done this scenario yet, however, just as an idea, have you tried resetting the system yet? If not, go into the machine room and reset LSS 44F01 (remember to keep it off for min 10sek). Maybe this will reset it and the scenario will handle the new numbers correctly...
This pack is perfect, really good work , the route now feels lively and more realistic. While driving a service I noticed an ic with two 101 in push-pull formation. I saw this formation in other routes like Frankfurt-Fulda and Frankurt S-bahn , and I thought they were meant to represent the services that used the cabcar in irl , but after seeing this consists in this timetable too , I'm now convinced that they are prototypical in irl. Can someone confirm my assumption?
I actually refunded this since all of the locomotives I enjoy driving are set for freights with run in the middle of the night. No fun running this long route in the dark.
On the PS store description page for the Expert 101 on Kassel pack, it does not say anywhere that you need the Expert 101 to use it which could mislead people into thinking you can get the 101 itself with the pack. Just saying to raise awareness of it
Please if you written over something is going wrong or you experience a bug please post on what platform your'e on.... So Steam, PS or XBOX... Is for the development more practical. And if you on PC Please check if mods not a case in the problems that you have. So remove mods before you post here something. Its not a valid complain with the knowledge that you have a modded game.
I do understand everybody who sees it this way, funnily enough I really do enjoy those runs. I have already said it at the time this route came out, the longer the better, especially the nightly freight runs. In fact, the first run of this pack was one of the br101 freight runs at night A shame you don’t enjoy the expert features of the 101 as much. After all, this is what this pack is really about… Which is the nature of this route and should not come as a surprise I found it absolutely fascinating how little compromises were made during construction of this (real world) route in terms of operations. Stations, signals and LZB blocks are always at the same distance, no matter the obstacles nature has thrown at them…
If you see it in the time period its build it was a absolute master peace for what they have done. The longest tunnel is around 10 kilometers long and the technical situation was not so as now days. So it was a heavy job to build.
It is a fantastic route and truly beautiful to drive, especially at dusk and dawn when fog or haze is present! OT: I'm currently on the rescue scenario, and I'm stuck at the part where the objective is listed as "Brake Test - Call Guard" and it says "Open GSM-R Dialer". I followed the objective markers and pressed 5 to open the dialer as instructed, but the objective doesn't complete, and nothing else seems to happen. I've tried reopening the dialer, backing out, and pressing other keys, but I'm not sure what to do from here. Am I missing a step? Is there something else specific I need to input into the dialer or somewhere else I need to go? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
I'm liking the new timetable a lot. It really adds a lot of life to the route. I feel like it's good value for money. I'm playing on PC/Steam. No mods installed. A couple things: Looks like you can only drive the Expert 101 on two freight services (KT 50000 and KT50001). They went through all the trouble of reworking the freight timetable and listing all the train data in the description (awesome feature btw) and we can barely use it with the star of the show. Is this a bug? Otherwise is there a reason the player doesn't have that option? I'm able to drive all the freight services with all the other locos (even the 187 hooray /s)- it's pretty disappointing tbh. No tunnel reverb on a route with so many tunnels is kinda rough. I know that's on DTG, but they had to do a route update anyway, so why not add it? it that big of a process? I get a weird audio bug in the Expert 101 where if i open the windows and then switch to any external camera, when i'm back in the cab the audio reverts to "windows closed" and i have to change the window state to change it back. It's 100% reproducable for me whether i use the keyboard or controller shortcuts.
What do you mean?! Of course you can open them. But the way you open them is quite different to other locos! In regards to the two freight trains that are hauled by the br101, those represent the so called Parcel InterCity (PIC), which was, at some point, actually pulled by 101s. I believe this was not the case any more (at least not regularly) in 2018, however, it’s certainly the only train that are at least somewhat realistic with the 101. Those in 2018 were able to drive at 140kph under LZB (also represented in game). So, it’s not a coincidence and not a bug, either…
They are there for sure i have them. So as i written earlier do you have mods installed thats blocking to use the cabcar? And please if you have mods installed remove them and test again before you written here. It creates misleading problems they purely exists by modding games.
In the scenario "Evacuation," it is practically impossible to park the BR101 next to the BR403. Even with microprecicion, I can't park without the announcement that I failed the scenario, because the system thinks that i'm one meter/yard too far. And when I'm parking next to it en the messurement blocks dissapears, the scenario doesn't seem to accept it to give me the next challenge. The mission "mind the gap" on the Kinzigtalbahn offers more room for this challange.
That's a shame. Maybe we'll get an expert freight loco some day to actually make use of the updated timetable.
Just got both the expert 101 and this pack and am not even getting through the 101 training modules. Have done all of them except the 20 minute cold start module which up until I get in the cab car works fine. Once in the cab car I get as far as lowering the panto (doesn't happen) then it tells me to raise the panto (again doesn't happen because the panto doesn't lower when you tell it too so doesn't need to raise) and close the MCB. At that point the training module is dead because no matter how long I hold the switch in closed or set it to closed the MCB isn't closing.
Its certainly possible. I have done it and I believe quite alot of others as well. As a hint, use the direct brake to keep your speed very slow (1-2 kph) and make a full stop once you hear the call. I believe this guy does it this way as well: Evacuation - Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel-Würzburg - BR 101 - #TrainSimWorld5
