Road Map Train Sim World 5 Roadmap: July 2025

Whatever! The starter pack is free, and your old routes come in after a while. That's what i'll do and then decide what i want.

 

So we are gonna have to wait longer for the GWE Remaster, North London Line Extension, Unannounced UK Route and Others.
DTG, this is not cool. We have been waiting too long for all this, and these should have been released in TSW5, and now they have been carried over to TSW6.
You guys have announced GWE Remaster Since Last Year August, and TILL NOW it hasn't been here like what the hell?
Other things have been announced and released after this announcement.
One Piece Of Advice, If you guys know that something will take a long time, then please don't announce it until you guys are 90% done with the route or so.. Because all of us have been waiting for too long and you're making us wait even longer now, it kind of feels like it's not coming anymore, but I don't want to start thinking that because I know you guys cannot do that..

 

Anything that's not making money isn't going to be a priority. That just makes sense. It means it's a "fun" project, not a "work" project. The other projects don't appear to be DTG, so they're on their own schedules.

Rivet are absolutely terrible at route building. Had Just Trains or ATS developed their routes you would note an amazing difference in the quality of detail and the routes accuracy. Every Rivet route has been poorly produced, but I admit the ones you mentioned are just slightly better than the rest but even these have glaring errors when compared to the real routes and every release needs improvement starting with WCL. While Rivet cannot replicate scenery accurately, they put a fantasy design in its place which doesn’t replicate the real route whatsoever. While Rivet are completely useless with their route building, their locomotive creation is a lot better, not perfect, but way better than their route building.

l had to laugh when they closed down their website forum because there was so much criticism. They should take criticism on board and be seen to be doing something to correct their errors.

l am pleased that they are still producing content for TSW, but Rivet, now please stick with locomotive design and leave route building to the professionals!!!

GWE is being worked on in DTG Liam's spare time, so obviously it's not going to be as high on the priority list as official DLC.

 

At this point we'd be better off waiting until after the TSW6 launch to purchase any new products. There just might be some core improvements that will be included, even some bug fixes. After all, we're supposed to " expect the unexpected ".

 

The roadmap has been out for about a month now and you are just realizing this?

But the GWE remaster is 1 person working in their spare time.

The Mildmay Extension was just announced in April, hardly a long time ago and again just 1 person in their spare time.

If it takes a team of 6, 18 months to do a route how long do you think it will take the people working by themselves

No i am not, It is more like The Roadmap has been out for about a month now and I am just sharing my thoughts here

 

I don't have an issue with the quality of the Alpine routes or IOW.
It's more personal preference, and you don't personally like them.
That's fine but opinion is far from "fact."
They're not "terrible" just because YOU believe so.
Others can disagree
You are assuming for example that they have to be building for building accurate... but that's not my criteria for enjoyment.
Mine is "fun."
So your critique is irrelevant since it's entirely based on your own personal enjoyment which is by definition personal and biased.

 

That persons obsessive hatred of Rivet is because they live near or right next to the line and it didn't meet the standard of what they personally wanted. Apparently it's a disgrace and an insult to everyone in Cornwall, their approximate words, can't remember the exact phrase. They are so far down the hate rabbit hole that Rivet could produce the best ever route in the franchise and it would still be a steaming pile of feces because they now have to hate it, Rivet are the nemesis that stalks their dreams.........
