My suggestion today is a fourth London Overground line for tsw, and in my opinion the most interesting one. The Windrush Line, formerly the East London Line, runs from Highbury and Islington to Clapham Junction, Crystal Palace, New Cross and West Croydon. For this suggestion, I think the branches to Clapham and New Cross would be most suitable, as creating 17 new stations, some of it underground is very difficult and any more may reduce the general quality of the route. One of the main selling points of the route is the underground section, between Shadwell and New Cross through the age-old Thames Tunnel. The stations on the line are:

    Highbury and Islington
    Canonbury
    Dalston Junction
    Haggerston
    Hoxton
    Shoreditch High Street
    Whitechapel
    Shadwell
    Wapping
    Rotherhithe
    Canada Water
    Surrey Quays

From here, the line tsw line would split into two branches: one of these would be a one-station line to New Cross, and the other all the way to Clapham. The latter of these branches contains the following stations, between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction:

    Queens Road Peckham
    Peckham Rye
    Denmark Hill
    Clapham High Street
    Wandsworth Road
    Clapham Junction

This brings the total number of new stations to 17, the underground section being partially interesting for an Overground service. The timetable is rather complex, so apologies if there’s some mistakes in here,

Highbury and Islington to Surrey Quays- 7tph (these are the services to West Croydon and Crystal Palace that would enter and exit as AI at Surrey Quays)
Dalston Junction to Clapham Junction- 4tph
Dalston Junction to New Cross- 4tph

This tight schedule comprises a wapping 20tph in each direction (see what I did there), making for a very intense and exciting driving experience in the core section of the Windrush Line.

All services would be run by class 378’s, which we already have on the Mildmay Line- however, not all services would be 5 car trains

So in short, what am I suggesting? I’m suggesting the Windrush Line, between Highbury and Islington and Clapham Junction, with the short branch to New Cross. The class 378 from the Mildmay Line would be the rolling stock of the line. I would expect a price of £25, with a 10-20% discount for owners of the Mildmay Line, who already own the 378, but we’d be lucky to get that discount on console too. The route is overall an intense, varied experience with a section through the Thames Tunnel being a big selling point.

It would not surprise me if Johannes from Incredible Trains was to make this, given his excellent work on the Mildmay Line and I think this would sell even better, considering it’s an arguably even more interesting line and he’s built himself a good reputation. Whoever would be making the route, it has lots of enticing qualities that make it appealing

This is probably the most interesting Overground line, because there is a tunnel section, lots of branches and lots of AI traffic, and we have pretty much all of the trains in the game to represent that AI traffic.

Purely IMHO this would be better set in LUL days and bring the A60 stock to the game. As a short route with one new train, £20 - £25 range.

I'd happily get this route, without a new train I'd hope for £19.99 but in truth I'd buy it anyway!

That’s if we don’t get picky and boil it down to subclasses. Cause there are Class 377 subclasses we don’t have that run on those lines

True, but all services that run could be represented with what we have already.

Having driven the original LUL East London Line in TSC, even if it had the wonderful A Stock this very short, slow route would wear thin very quickly. Besides, if someone is going to the trouble of making the A60/62 unit then it has to be let loose in its natural environment between Aldgate and Buckinghamshire. Fine if it's a little Easter Egg addition with the line between Aldgate North Junction and Whitechapel that was used for stock transfers.

Far better to have the modern LO version of the ELL as suggested by the OP.

Agreed. To be honest, with a number of Overground routes in game, it would be odd now to have part of that network not be consistent time-wise.
