New Dutch Routes In Tsw6 (open Discussion)

Dovetail in recent times have rumored that they are focusing to plan on releasing more Dutch routes within TSW6’s lifespan, especially because of the very possible feedback regarding the first one.

What do you guys think of this? What routes would you like to see? Me personally, I would like (and predict) Dovetail go with a high density commuter rail, like Den Haag (The Hague) Centraal Station to Amsterdam Centraal via Schipol Airport. It’s a mix of sprinter and express services, express taking around 50 ish minutes, while the sprinter takes an hour to an 1h10m. We could also get to see a new train in the game too, with the VIRM in the mix too, which is this sleek, double decker, slightly older train in the mix with the other rolling stock we have already.


I’m more focused on what you guys have to say though. What are your thoughts on possible new Dutch routes? What would you like to see in the future in the Netherlands? What new routes or trains would you like to see?

 

If you want a route from Den Haag to Amsterdam CS, it needs to start at Den Haag CS and not from Den Haag Laan van Nieuw Oost-indië..

I'm not familiar with the route myself, but it does include two of the most internationally known cities.

 

it’s one of the busiest routes in the netherlands, and is this high density commuter rail line with frequent service both ways. it’d be a true shame if they don’t use this route

 

Personally I’d like to see a slightly retro route including Hoek van Holland, before it was downgraded to a Metro line, including the international trains which used to connect out of the ferries from Harwich etc.

 

I'd like to see a route including Utrecht and the Spoorwegmuseum, with a DD-AR and an NS 1700

 

i like to see you route suggestion,
and wish there comes more dutch routes routes at south and north holland and utrecht and brabant
further we must discuss somewere about the dutch routes in a new hope that they add more dutch route as well as trains
in the future

I'd like to see something very busy and with plenty of stations, which essentially means routes from Amsterdam:

Amsterdam/Schiphol to Utrecht (...Arnhem)
Amsterdam/Schiphol to Amersfoort (...Deventer)
Amsterdam to Rotterdam/Den Haag via Haarlem
Amsterdam CS/Zuid to Rotterdam/Den Haag via Schiphol
Amsterdam to Alkmaar/Hoorn (via Haarlem or Zaandam)
Den Haag to Roosendaal/Breda

Maastricht to Haarlem in 2006 with NS ICRm carriages and 1700 Locomotive's would be a nice addition in Retro Perspective.

I fear the whole route would be a bit too long for TSW, but I agree with the rolling stock choice. I'd love to see a NS1700 loco series, either pulling ICR or DD-AR coaches.
