To recap: you have successfully copied the desired scenery/mixmap/lofts/terrain to your new route and are happy with the result? you have run the track merge function (using the same offsets of course?) and get no error but don't see the added track? Questions: do you see the added track in the 2D map? If so then you have some sort of missing track type/network rule type (check that the copied track uses a network rule in the target route as well as the track type) If not then the track hasn't copied at all (duh). So try copying just one tile of track and check the on-screen report window thing. Send a screenshot of that.
Yes i have sucsesfully copied the scenery function The tracks in the source route(added route) are perfectly fine all visible but the tracks in the target route dissapear im merging ECMl with South london & thameslink and the routes track dissapear between kentish town and london bridge & elephant and castle and i dont see the track in the 2d map i have checked them in thw world editor tried to see if theyre invisible but theyre not theyre just completley gone i have changed the track rule and track type in south london & thameslink to ECMLS track rule and Track concrete 01
So in this case the track you are adding is ok but the track you are adding into has gone? Is any of the target route's track still visible - if so then this suggests either an issue with specific track sections (using a different track type that isn't playing nicely) or something else. Do the two sets of track cross each other by any chance?
@cunningn#3154 Have you by any chance done any YT video tutorials on merging routes buddy ? I would love to merge my Milford Haven-Neyland to Swansea route to the Shrewsbury-Bristol-Swansea merged route. Two completely different era's but i could always go modern at my end.
no - because it isn't a user-ready piece of software - I did it (13 years ago IIRC) to do several specific things for my route - it wasn't intended to be used by others. Supporting utility software is a PITA even if it is professionally produced and tested (which this isn't). It is 'available' on an 'on your head be it' basis. I answer the odd polite query here when it looks like someone has mostly got it and just need a nudge to be successful. So, if you want to try it then download it - read the 'documentation' and see if you understand the methods and reasons for what it is doing. If you do then try it out and proceed by trial-and-error. If you don't understand it then leave it alone ;-)
Hiya buddy, oh i see it's your own bit of kit. Sorry i did not realise that. Probably will not understand it, so better leave well alone. I think i did have it on my pc once but couldn't make head nor tail of it. That is what i like about Trainz Surveyor. Grab your two compatible routes, join in the editor, save and job done. Yes the two sets of track cross each other at copenhagen on a bridge the overground tracks in the mml route it connects to the rest of the sll & thameslink route and the target track is visible execpt for the missing section between kentish town and lon bridge any track outside this section is still visible
So the crossing at Copenhagen is ok but a section to the West isn't? Two thoughts: you haven't included that section in your coordinates (unlikely if the scenery is there) it is a different track type/trackrule to everything else and isn't copying. Have a look at the track in your original version of the target route (the one with missing track) and check what tracktype/rule it is just in case (I'm not convinced but worth checking all bases). I suggest that you undo what you've done so far and revert back to your original state (ie with a fresh copy of the target route incl Kentish Town etc). Then confirm that the missing track i in the target route. Then re-do the scenary clone - and re-check the track. then do the track copy and see where you get.
