I think this is a very good idea to give even a little more realism when we are driving.

Would be nice, but how is a passenger view realistic when you're the driver?

With well-recreated interior views, the lack of a camera is a big omission. Experience with TS shows that switching to a view from the carriage while driving is possible without damaging the session. There are quite a few sections on the routes that do not require the active participation of the driver and there is an opportunity to admire the views from the carriage window. This function is extremely necessary. For me personally, it is more important than the conductor mode.

I really want to enjoy the interior and the view from the window, but I cannot afford to spend an entire session in passenger mode.

No, but it adds detail to the game.

Tell that to MSTS (Microsoft Train Simulator) and as well as to OR (Open Rails).

    Program MSTS, REF https://www.irfca.org/docs/msts-tips.htm

    Program OR, REFs #1 https://static.openrails.org/files/OpenRails-Testing-Manual.pdf #2 https://static.openrails.org/files/Keyboard_Layout_DE_V1.3.1e.pdf #3 https://coalstonewcastle.com.au/downloads/physics/or_camera_controls_v4.pdf

In the English offical manual / user's guide for program OR (the first link), found in Container management at 9.5 Multiple passenger viewpoints. Page 220 out of 450.

    That's a good one indeed,
I like it too. Maybe we should also discuss different camera modes.

If you want a passenger view, spawn on foot in timetable mode and board a train like a real passenger

    This.

See above. It is perfectly possible to have the train under control, no upcoming signals or speed restrictions and want to sneak a quick look at what the passenger sees particular when driving from a “letter slot” EMU or DMU.
